My name is Ashley. I recently moved out of New Jersey to my hometown in the suburbs of Pittsburgh. This decision was not due to a pleasant circumstance and I was upset to have to leave what I thought was going to be the rest of my life in NJ. On my last moving trip back (exhausting) I stopped at this Wawa where I unfortunately dropped my wallet on the ground and didn’t realize it until I was 3 hours away. I called the Wawa and it wasn’t found. On top of an already super sad situation and day, losing my wallet was the cherry on top. About 3 weeks later I open my e-mail to find that the General Manager of this store Joe, had emailed me informing me that my wallet has been there. I was SHOCKED. I couldn’t believe my wallet was found and I couldn’t believe that someone took the time out to find my contact online and let me know. And I REALLY COULDNT BELIEVE THAT OVER $200 cash and $250 in gift cards were still in there. This kind man ALSO took the time to go to the post office and mail everything back to me to my new home. What meant most to me in addition to the above is that this wallet was a gift to me from my brother who has been serving and away from home in the US Army. This man had no idea what he did for me in getting this back to me during a time where my life turned upside down so quickly. A financially hard time too, as many of us are facing right now. Receiving this money back and the gift of my wallet was a really bright spot in a tough time for me. The integrity of the manager in addition to his employees really sheds the truth that there are still very kind and good people surrounding us. I truly want to thank this establishment for doing this for me. I know good things will come back around...
Read moreTsk, tsk. While I love Wawa, this one is bigger than its britches. If you order food, you have to hawk eye your order or you run the risk of omissions such as bacon. Last week, I ordered a veggie sandwich bagel. The sandwich had I small slice of cucumber on it and a thin slice of tomato. Since it was a guy that made the sandwich and I didn't catch it until I was at work, I let it go. Today however, I ordered 2 bagels with bacon. Guess what was missing? The bacon. I went back to the girl and showed her, she shrugged and said sorry. How can you miss bacon on a bacon sandwich when the order is on front of you? It wasn't even busy at the time. Very disappointing. They shouldn't serve food if they can't read the printed orders. What are you paying for? You re almost better off buying from the pre-made case at this store. At least you would get what...
Read moreCame in ordered food on kiosk as instructed. No one ever came out to make the food. I waited 10min no one came to the front I had to call the person at the cash register to locate the person who makes the orders. He radio to the other associates regarding my order. I waited another 4 to 5 minutes to see if the associate would come make my order. Unfortunately they did not I had to request a refund because no one made my order. I have never experienced this before at this wawa but this experience was definitely weird. As no one stepped up to make my order but they rather refund me than make my order. This is definitely not the best customer service for this wawa. I believe Shane needs to review the cameras to view how his customers are being...
