Nellis Auction House in Delran can be a chaotic, unpredictable experience where the quality of what you win often fails to match the description, leaving bidders uncertain and sometimes frustrated. The process feels a lot like gambling; some days you score a brand-new deal, but more often the products—whether yoga mats, mirrors, resistance bands, or odd household stuff—turn out to be broken, incomplete, or just not what was advertised. It's common to see people wheeling out a giant load of stuff, leaving newcomers puzzled about what everyone is actually buying. Atmosphere and Crowd: Nellis gets particularly busy during load-out hours and after popular auctions, with a parade of bargain hunters and resale pros loading carts with odd collections of goods. Many buyers scoop up big, mixed lots—think yoga mats, mirrored decor, and fitness bands—all at deeply discounted prices, often intended for resale or flea market flipping. Quality and Accuracy: Customers regularly complain about misleading quality ratings; "5 stars" often does not guarantee a new or working item, and descriptions can be vague or inaccurate. Items frequently arrive damaged, used, or missing parts, especially if purchased in bulk or as “pallet deals”. Some buyers recommend inspecting all purchases on-site, as returning home to discover a misrepresented item is a common frustration. Bidding Experience: The excitement of bidding is tempered by the risk of snags, missing items, or finding out a coveted "new" item is actually trash—making the result more of a gamble than guaranteed value. Bidding often feels like a spectacle, with people carting out carts loaded with mystery boxes of merchandise, ranging from useful to totally random junk. What People Buy: The most common haul includes random fitness gear (yoga mats, resistance bands), mirrored decor, electronics, furniture, and almost anything you can imagine, often bought for resale or group use. Bargain hunters, resellers, or people just hoping for a cheap thrill are typical customers, explaining the weird variety of stuff leaving the place. Observations and Advice: Reviewers strongly suggest verifying descriptions and quality before bidding, and checking every item before leaving the warehouse. If you're after consistent retail quality, this isn't the place; but if you're comfortable with some risk and enjoy the thrill of the hunt, Nellis Delran is a noisy, sometimes fun, and sometimes aggravating market for unusual deals. In summary: Nellis Auction House Delran is part secondhand circus, part discount warehouse, where buying can feel more like rolling dice than shopping—and the parade of loaded carts full of yoga mats and mirrors is as much the show as the...
Read moreNow I’m going to show you how powerful it is to review , don’t go to this place! The things they call new are not new, the employees are good and they like to help, but they are lying, as you can see, I bought a sectional couch and it says two pieces, when I go to take it, 1 piece? It felt like they were doing it because I bought it cheaply, every time I go, everything I bought to the end was either broken or wrong. I’ve been using this place for a long time and this was my last purchase. Don’t be fooled by good comments because they said they would give points to those who commented well. I had to return everything I bought all the time and for this I rented a car and lost 100 dollars, go buy it from the store and don’t suffer. Also, it seemed to me that the employees don’t enter the details of the product they like because they want to buy for they self, very easy to open the box and look, but why not write the number of a shoe?, they always lie about the best things, the best things are broken and I look at when they open it into the broken things, is this a huge couches ? You lost a customer who only tried to do something and was always respectful and loyal, I will tell everyone around me because we were using it with my entire circle of friends. You always did this to me, but I was silence , you gave me a the wrong product, the product you said was new was torn, you only make people upset and make trouble, after all, your other customer will buy it for more money its should be not for 600 because it can be 800 or 1000, That’s why you don’t want to give it to me right? These are my thoughts The employees are very good, my respect for them is endless, but this place is very wrong and a waste of time, people drive and rent cars for this, but when it’s the wrong product, they think it’s over with an apology, don’t rent a car for that, then you’ll be left in the middle like me. Also (Don’t waste time by calling customer service because they don’t help anything and they don’t answer the phones I made an appointment with customer service and it didn’t appear in the system) I won’t delete my comment. (I wrote my thoughts) Also thanks to the employees, but not to those who put the product in the system.(Update: it’s somewhere, but they can’t find it just return it instead of giving it to me and I stayed with the...
Read morePlease be aware!!!!!!!Check Packages before you leave from pick up!
I have always had an excellent experience since the Delran site opened. Everything that I have purchased has been amazing and great. Items were always correct. Employees are always so kind and helpful. But lately I do not know what is going on with Nellis Auction in Delran.
My last purchase was a grill in box and it was not a cheap one. I won the item, then scheduled pick up. When I went to pick up associate came out with item. I asked her to help me to put item in vehicle and she kindly did. When we picked up the box I found it odd that the box was extremely light.
I proceeded to leave and pulled over on the side of road as soon as I pulled out of the facility. I want to check the item before heading home. When I opened the box it was it was not the item that was advertised on the box outside of the box. Pictures did not match from what I saw on website and item in box. It was an old used grill. I quickly went back into facility and returned then item and explained to associate that this was not the right item in the box. She kindly returned my item. But here is the thing I don’t live close to this facility and the drive is about an hour. Which I don’t mind driving but when this happens it just a waste of time on my part. So far this has happened to me a few time when purchasing. I did reach out to customer service and she explained that the item was previously purchased and returned at the Nellis facility. So the person who purchased previously must have switched out the item and returned it.
A few issues here that should be addressed. 1-Why are these items not being inspected when returned? If the customer that purchased item switched the item then they should be band from further purchases. 2- Hire competent employees that inspect items that are being returned.
This way people are not wasting their time to go and pickup items that are not what they are.
Other necessary guard rails need to be put in place so this doesn’t continue to happen.
I want to continue to buy items from Nellis but they have to do better with people who are taking...
