Old School Square — Attraction in Delray Beach

Beautiful music venue and historic center of downtown Delray Beach, been the heart of delray for as long as I can remember. Great atmosphere and plenty of outdoor events all throughout the year. My only complaint being that I wish the city would spend more resources towards bringing in more talented music acts that people would like to attend. There are plenty of local competent promoters/booking agents that could breath a breath of greasy air into the music scene here (ie: brotherly love productions), no reason we should be outshined by the city of lake worth. Garlic fest for example which was the best event held, but still lacking in the talent scouting imho, was lost to lw a few years back. Hope to see Delray back in the radar in the years to come

Warmth, wonder, magical vibe not only for Christmas at this location. But Jimmy Buffett outdoor concerts in May 2021 was just a great addition to Delray Beach awesome sweet downtown. It was packed! Most people without their masks and most out for a special concert which seemed like a long time since any concerts- The parking around here is not so great. Tickets were pricy. Most folks were close by to clearly hear Jimmy singing his tune list as you know and love. And you could find open spots around the Old School Square with no problem. We arrived got a couple beers and started walking around. We came for the seafood and I purchased some fried oysters my family and I started to sample the oysters and they were cold I stopped my family from eating any of food. All the fried food stands were heaping with fried food underneath heat lamps which only covered the center of the pile of seafood the condiments were in direct sun we left the festival to get something good to eat at Rocco tacos where I spent some time in the bathroom.
