Came here for lunch with my wife on a Tuesday. Ramen lab is our favorite ramen eatery hands down so we were surprised at the poor service that we experienced today. We normally dine at the Boca Raton location but also go to the Delray location on occasion. Usually it's a good combination of delicious food and good service but this time the latter was lacking. We had 2 servers (let's call them server A and server B) and 1 extra person who brought us one or two of our dishes. We ordered 4 appetizers and a Ramen bowl. The apps came out just fine but the ramen bowl still hadn't come out by the time we finished with our apps. According to server A, server B either forgot to put in the order or the order went to a different table. While waiting for our ramen dish, we told server A that wed like to pack up our left over kimchi fries and pork belly burnt ends. Server A proceeded to bring us some to-go containers. We thought, cool, we'll pack the food up but she, with 1 hand proceeded to try to pour our burnt ends into a container spilling some on the table in the process so we had to take over before she spilled more of our food. When she started going for the fries, we told her, no, we go it. I don't know about you but I'm not a fan of wasting food that I paid for. Not sure why she tried doing that with 1 hand. She didn't apologize either. When our ramen bowl finally arrived I asked server B for dessert (strawberry tres leches) and she warned that if she placed the order now, it would come out right away and offered to wait until we were done with our ramen bowl instead. Having had enough delays, I said that I didn't want her to wait and for her to go ahead and place the order. 10 min goes by and as she walks by our table she says she's on the way to get our dessert. 15 min later, after having finished our entire bowl of ramen, the dessert still hadn't come out. Thankfully, when it eventually arrived, it was delicious. Lastly, my wife ordered a Thai tea Boba but they brought it out without the boba so we had to wait for them to correct that as well. Server B apologized for the delays and said they were short handed. When we arrived, it was not busy at all and most tables were empty. That being said, it quickly became populated while we dined. We are looking forward to the West Boca location to open up and hope for...

So disappointed we had 4 people order udon noodle bowls. It took 30 minutes to get our food. When it arrived the soup was cold and only one person got the udon noodles in their soup. When we confronted them about why each of us had diffetent size noodles they said they were all udon but one was cooked longer which is why mine was a thicker noodle than the rest. I was the only one whose order was correct and hot. Rather than just telling us they ran out of udon noodles they said that we all got udon noodles but their noodles were thin like spaghetti not thick like udon noodles are supposed to be. Two people requested the soup to be recooked and heated with the correct udon noodle they ordered. When the other two people got their soup it came 30 minutes later and the other people had finished their meals by that time. One of the people in the party said that they were not happy with the timing of the meals since we had finished our dishes and that they barely got any udon noodles in their bowls. I did have a lot more udon noodles in my soup again they should have been honest and just said they were low on udon noodles. The server was trying her best to be nice but there seemed to be lack of customer sevice from management. When my friends asked for their meals to be taken off they refused. My friend said to take back the soup because she was unsatisfied with the soup bc of the lack of noodles and was still hungry. The manager offered to bring her some other food and said she would take off the soup. However when we got the bill they had charged her for the soup. She left the food at the table due to them telling her they would remove the charge and because of the poor service from management and kitchens mistakes. The restaurant called the cops on her because they said she dined and dashed. They even tried to come after me even though I paid for my meal and have a receipt. There was 5 of us dining all of which was our first time dining there. We will never come back! If they keep treating their customers this way they will surely go out of business. Was it really worth loosing potential loyal customers and a bad review for a soup that probably cost them only a few...

My friends and I were dining at your Delray location for dinner on 5/28/2024. It was our friends birthday and she wanted to attend bingo night.

The service from the staff was impeccable even with a full house.

After we paid our tabs one of group members remembered they brought a cake as it was a birthday. We asked the hostess and our waitress, who were standing, next to each other if it was okay to cut the cake. They said it was perfectly fine. They brought us plates, forks, napkins and butter knife to cut the cake with. We lit candles, sang happy birthday twice, took pictures. It was a nice evening until the GM (didnt get her name but white female with blonde air) arrived.

GM: No outside food allowed Me: Your staff said it was okay GM: Yeah I'm saying its not okay and need to pay $30 cake fee Me: Respectfully, your staff said it was fine and we are already eating the cake. If your staff told us otherwise then we would not have cut the cake here. GM: I am telling you I will charge you the $30 and it does not matter what my staff said as I am the GM Me: Well we already paid our tabs so I am not paying anything extra. And if you hand me a bill for it I am going to hand it right back you as your staff said it was okay GM: Well I will just have the call the police for theft (as she tells a team member to open the tab) Me: I said go ahead and call the police because we are leaving and have paid our tabs and we have already eaten the cake.

We left and ended the night as she killed our good time with her unprofessional behavior. I have run retail stores with large amounts of staff and if my team member ever made mistake, I would never take it out on the customer, I would do right by the customer as best I can and then coach my time accordingly. Not threaten to call the cops...

It’s rare I give 5 stars..and maybe I just got lucky on my 1 visit here.. and admittedly I did not order ramen..however, I was with a friend and we shared multiple items. There’s not many places I’ve been where all items were satisfying, met expectations, and were fairly priced. We had mushroom bao buns, pork belly bao buns (look at the fun presentation??), KFC wings, pork gyoza, and Mango Saketinis. I’m a little more sensitive to heat where as my friend has no issue, but the server assured me KFC wings were tolerable. I felt they were actually below mild and just had a hint of heat. I’m not even a wings person, but these were perfectly crispy without being breaded. The KFC sauce was delicious! The gyoza was probably the best I ever had. They might actually make these from scratch, I don’t know but they tasted so perfectly delicate, fresh, and perfectly prepared like someone’s Asian grandma must have just made them! The grill/pan sear on them added such a perfect flavor. We also were concerned about the Saketinis being too sweet and our server made sure that the sweetness was tweaked and they came out perfect! Right amount of sweetness and a hint of mango. 10/10 would go back again!!!!
