This jewelry store is by far LEAGUES better than any Kay, Pandora, or Jared you'd ever visit. You're doing yourself a disservice if you choose those name brands over Kaufman.

I was in the market for a very specific ring for someone special to me and searched around major retailers like Jared and Kay, but they couldn't meet my expectations. I've had too much of a vision for this piece of jewelry, and it would be a disservice to just "buy" something that already exists in someone else's hand. I needed to create this ring; it needed to be unique and one of a kind, something as special as the person receiving the ring. So I sought out Kaufmann de Suisse Jewelers and asked if they could assist me with a custom ring I drew and sketched up. Monica eagerly accepted the challenge and sat down with me to conceptualize and draw the ring with me, showing me what worked and doesn't work. After some production time, I received one of the most beautiful rings I've ever laid my eyes upon, and that's all thanks to Monica. She was able to instruct me on what was possible and what isn't feasible in terms of jewelry creation, and guided me throughout the whole process.

Seriously, this place is top tier. If you guys want to create jewelry that's special to you and extremely high quality for a damn good price, this is the place to go. I'll absolutely come back here if I want to make any more custom jewelry for either myself or other people in my life. Monica, you have been an absolute God-send throughout this process. Thanks for being such a team player and so on board with my drawings for the ring! 5/5 stars is an understatement for what this business...

Not worth one star…

I went in today to determine if the jeweler could quickly clean my band and ring. I rushed in between meetings with my ann taylor joggers, penn state shirt, and a baseball hat on.

Ignorant is the nicest word to describe the lady working. I greet the employee “Hi can you please clean my band and ring”. She states to me “I only can clean well made rings”. Granted she DIDNOT even see or inspect my ring. This was the first thing she said to me. No hello…

Astonished, to be clearly judged by my appearance. I requested the gentleman standing there to open their TSA doors, so I could leave.

On my way out I did educate the juvenile jeweler, that this 3 carat VVS1 engagement ring is actually custom made by Browns the South African designer, and my 2 carat band is a custom made piece by JORGE ADELER himself…

In attempt to what I assume was to justify her rude comment, she replies “Well I don’t know, I clean rings all the time and have diamonds flying everywhere. So I have to ask”.

As a new resident to Delray this is my first poor experience in the neighborhood. I’m hopeful that other owners, employees and community members don’t exemplify...

After spending many vacations in the Zurich area and admiring the beautiful jewelry in the shop windows along the Bahnhof Strasse, I was thrilled to discover the Swiss jewelry store in Delray Beach. My first visits to the store were simply to change the clasps on my necklaces to magnetic ones, as I was having difficulty with the small, delicate catches. I was surprised that Monica agreed to “take on” such small projects, but I soon discovered that even though the charges were minimal, I was treated as though I was purchasing a diamond necklace. Recently I took a piece of jewelry that my husband had given me years ago to Monica. I love it and have worn it for years, but felt it was time to “enhance” the look. I explained my intentions and Monica designed a new look while keeping the original piece intact. When I first saw my necklace, I was overwhelmed by the result. Monica created a piece that I will proudly wear to even elaborate affairs. It’s stunning!!! Thank you Monica. You’ll be seeing a lot of me...
