Haus Of Hair — Attraction in Denham Springs

I went in for a perm. It was obvious that the person doing my hair had absolutely no experience with perms. She seemed scared to comb my hair and the rollers kept falling out. I was skeptical but she was nice and the rest of the team there seemed to be checking on her frequently asking her if she needed anything. I should have gotten up at that point and left, but I thought these are professionals, they will not let anything bad happen to my hair. Right? Wrong! The chemical solution dripped into my face & burned my skin all around my forehead and eyes. When I asked for cotton, I was told they don't use that anymore. Another hair dresser asked me if my face was burning and I said yes but nothing was done to even try to remedy this. My hair did not get cut or styled because after 3.5 hours I had had enough. To add insult to injury, I was charged an astronomical amount for the horrid condition my hair was left in. You would think that if you are going to charge someone $175 for a perm then it would have been done by someone who knew what they were doing AND completed the job. I have since had to spend yet even more money to have more than 3 inches cut off from the severe damage that was done and seek medical treatment for the chemical burns to my face. I would NOT recommend this establishment for the simple fact that the owner KNEW that the hairdresser was messing up my hair and absolutely did nothing. He also knew that my face was burning, knew I was unhappy and could obviously see that my hair was damaged, soaking wet, and uncut when I left. No discount or apologies were even offered. I should have refused to pay but I was so terribly upset I just paid and left. I hope reading this review saves someone else's hair because I sure...

I brought my 3 bad @$$ kids in for 2 of them to get cuts before school started, I was going in originally for Amanda, I had met her one night about a month or so prior, she told me she worked here, and I said I would bring my kids to her for cuts. Mind u, I didn't have an appointment or anything, so we walk in and I find out she happens to be off that day. So, Chase the lovely guy assisting me, says Jacob just left I'll call him and see if he wants to come back, so he does, and this amazing life saver named Jacob, immediately turns around and comes back, when I say my daughter was glowing with excitement and absolutely loved her "new hair" that is and understatement. I have been to salons where u tell them something and they don't listen and just do whatever, and what can u do?? But definitely not this one, he asked another worker for their opinion just to make sure he was doing it correctly. In My opinion that was the deal sealer! I am now in love with this salon, and all the people in it! I definitely won't be going...
