We have been a few times with our large group of family & friends with many kids. The kiddos played games (which were provided at the tables), or we all played frisbee and ball with them in the open lot beside the brewery while we adults vibed on good company, the latest beer flights, a wide array of every food they offered on the menu, and live music. We got one of everything, and everyone shared. With a glance around, you can see it's a very chill, inclusive space that welcomes people of every kind. It's a warm, fun, cozy hangout under the stars with a caring staff. Everything is clean, and someone was always walking around tidying things, offering food samples, seeing if our group needed anything. They were playing with new recipes and asking our opinions of samples all evening. That was fun. We kept them busy with drink and food orders, and they were always pleasant and prompt with orders. All our food orders were prepared fresh and served piping hot. Hot tasty food, icy cold beer...life is good at Le Chien! We're looking forward to returning during the spring weather. ...
Read moreA lot of people in Denham Springs are leaving good reviews because there isn't anywhere else to go in the city at the moment. The people who own the place are incredibly pretentious and make every excuse they can to justify their inability to provide customer service. The beer is okay at best. Definitely not worth the price they are asking. This isn't Colorado. They seem to think that they can charge a premium when you can buy better beer at Calandro's. One of the owners, a failed DJ, is all over social media trying to attack customers who leave negative reviews. His father is the one who is paying for all of this because he seems to be the only one in the family who actually decided to put some work into something rather than expect it to be given to them. The place is an absolute joke and the newness will fade off very soon. Just waiting for one of them to go on here and call me a troll like the other guy he attacked for leaving a negative review. The first sign of a dishonest business is when they start attacking customers rather than admitting that they may have actually done...
Read moreI moved here from Loveland, Co last year and have been looking for a brewery near where I live to become a frequent patron. Apparently I was completely spoiled in NoCo with hundreds of breweries only a bike ride away but never realized it until I moved. I was super excited to see this open, finally some local craft brew near me.
This place has everything right except for the main ingredient.....beer. I’ve been several times and tried 3 out of the 4(?) beers they brew and they were all terrible. No depth or complexity to the taste whatsoever and honestly somewhat watery. I’m no expert but I have frequented hundreds of successful breweries and feel there is a LOT of room for improvement with their recipes.
I’m a dog lover but both of my visits it seemed like the main reason people were there was to show off/compare pets. Outside is one thing but inside was a little much.
On a better note the atmosphere is nice and the staff...
