If you don't feel like reading this review (although it may be entertaining to some) let me cut to the chase and say I give this Phone Repair Shop -5 stars. I'm actually trying to cope with the fact I have to give 1 minimum. I actually went out my way to create a Yelp account, download the app, and wait 10 minutes on a confirmation email just to spread the word. I don't want anyone else to have this terrible experience.
So I broke my phone screen at night one day. I call Apple to get an appointment in store to fix my screen. It's $100, which is standard and I knew that. The only thing that dissuade me was that Apple was full of appointments all the way to the following week and I need my phone!
I work at the local mall and often walk past this store to get to my job so I thought "why not go in and see if they can fix it." Sure enough I go I n the following morning. There's a lady who works there who took my phone and said she'd charge me $100 for it. At this point I'm thinking "why do you charge the same amount as the official thing?!" The only reason I stayed is because I needed my phone ASAP as I'm a student at UNT.
So I get my phone back 45 minutes later then go home and notice a blue mark under my screen, like a dead pixel; the screen was also not secure on the phone. They offer 7 day warranty incase they installed it incorrect so I walk in and tell them what I see. The lady then blames it on my vision and says all computers do that (mind you, I'm a BCIS, former computer engineering major so I kinda know about computers). So I leave because I have to work and didn't feel like arguing that day.
I return a week later because this blue mark is just unbearable, especially at night or in low light. It sticks out like a thumb. They continued to refute my claims but upheld their end of the warranty and changed the screen.
I get my phone and got a text message... The screen is rattling like a snake, my home button is wobbly, and not to mention there are scratches on my phone!!! I'm not even going to bother this time. I'm just going to Apple (like I should've done the first time for quality) next week and shell out yet another $100 for my precious iPhone
All in all, terrible quality. These screens sell for $20 on Amazon and there's finger prints all over the place. So I basically paid $80 for terrible customer service and sub-par professionalism.
I would not recommended this phone repair shop to even my worst...

I had my iPhone 13 Pro screen replaced after cracking it. Prior to me taking the phone in the phone functioned completely normal with the cracked screen, but the screen was going to crack worse over time if not replaced so I looked up an iPhone repair shop. Cost $216 out the door and took him 1hr to repair. Immediately upon picking up my phone told me that it was not a genuine apple screen part and I just skipped the warning message, paid them, and left. The next day my screen already started acting up. The touch sensing didn’t quiet always work when trying to wake my screen from locked mode, when typing fast on my keyboard the display would glitch, the entire screen would show artifacts to the point the screen was not useable or sending my touch for minutes and not until I locked it and unlocked it again would it work. The next few days my iPhone battery life became terrible, dropping to 5% by noon and needing to be charged, then every four hours, when normally I could last an entire day without a charge. Very unhappy with this repair but I know they won’t do anything about it because they had huge sign posted at the register saying “no returns, all sales final”. I won’t be going back there again. I’ll probably have to buy/upgrade my phone now sooner than I was...
Read moreI paid $173 to get an iPhone XS Max screen repaired here. 1 week after the replacement the screen started the go black and I would have to power the device down and back up again manually to get the screen to come back on. We went in today explained that the screen is blacking out and the workers accused us of breaking the screen. The screen was fully intact just how they repaired it. Then the worker says he will replace it for $30 ?! When I already paid for a screen replacement just 3 weeks before. With receipt in hand, proof of a fully intact undamaged screen. We just wanted them to check the screen and fix it? We already paid $173 for a replacement that clearly was done defective. Why would we pay another $30….. Me and my boyfriend left. Why would we pay more money to a shop that can’t take responsibility. I’m not the type to go and write reviews but come on. $173 is alot and then for the replacement to be defective. At this point I would have rather taken my money to a repair shop that can see we just wanted a phone repair done right and if it was defective...
