We had a coupon for a Free Kids Meal with the purchase of an Adult Meal. I ordered the Mooyah Cheeseburger, fries and a drink. Cashier 1 had the coupon and understood what we were doing. After eating we started looking at the receipt and noticed that the cheeseburger, listed on the menu at $6.99 was charged as a hamburger ($6.49) and cheese ($1.10). We were also charged $3.49 for fries and $2.59 for a regular drink. So for this Adult meal I was charged over $14.00. Much more than was is stated on the menu posted in the store.
When I brought this to the attention of "Cashier 1" (name listed on the receipt), he looked and told me that is how they were forced to enter it with the coupon. I said, "So, you send me a coupon, and when I redeem it you charge MORE than your posted price, just because I am using a coupon?" His reply... That's how the system rings up the coupon.
If true, that's a really shameless practice by this company. If not true, you have a very dishonest employee that just lost you a very good customer. Congratulations! We now see hoy you are able to offer good deals... just charge our good customers MORE that our menu price and that pays for the "discount" we offer.
We used to enjoy coming to your store. Five Guys and others in town are...
Read moreA colleague invited me to get a burger after work. She had been trying to get me to try with her at the place called “Mooyah”. I had seen it several times driving by to other places and finally told her, “let’s go”.
I had the “Best Quesonario,” and she tried the same burger except with turkey meat. I have to add this disclaimer before sharing my thoughts: I’m not a burger person. For me, eating a burger has to be at some place I know will “deliver”, as they say, regarding taste. Let me also add that I’m visiting and am NOT familiar with this chain, but I was willing to try it with her.
Now, this particular was a burger to write about. A single certified Angus beef, green chile queso, fried onion strings, tomato, jalapenos, mayo on a signature potato bun; “baby,” you talking about some kind of good. I can’t believe I ate nearly the whole thing. I never eat an entire burger, even at family cookouts, along with their signature French fries. I’ve had my fix for a while after eating this burger.
So, let me officially “thank” Mooyah for a great burger experience. The burger's ingredients had the right amount of punch without being overwhelming.
I firmly believe that when I say, “Don’t trust me; check it out...

Im sorry that a burger place feels the need to not pay its employees a decent wage and the consumer again picks up the tab for corporate. Over all the sweet potatoes was the highlight ... much better than Turkey burger sogginess.. unfortunately will not be back.. bang for buck ..no sweet potato fries..but headed back to what a burger.
