Chiloso Mexican Bistro — Restaurant in Denton

I used to give this place a 5 star review but this place has gone downhill. Why? I have no idea why. The food isn’t as good as it used to be. I would get a massive burrito under $10, and it was fantastic. I don’t know when they changed their prices but now it’s over $11. I went in around 9pm on October 8th. It was such a horrible experience. They filled my burrito and the girl wrapping it made everything spill out. She was wrapping my burrito on the cashier counter too. She had to get an extra tortilla. Some old guy pulled the girl and a guy working there around the corner and he whispered something to them. The guy comes out and charges me $14+ for my burrito, which is strange because it’s usually around $11. I asked for a receipt because the price was so high. The receipt said that I was charged for extra meat, when I in fact did not ask for extra meat. Keep in mind that half of my burrito spilt out on the counter. I literally got charged $3 more for something I didn’t get. I asked why I got charged extra and the guy didn’t give me a straight answer. They did the same thing to my roommate. To make things worse, the food was so dry. Every time I come here the disappointment increases. The flavor is not as good as it used to be. I’m very disappointed with this place because if you would’ve asked my opinion during the summer, I’d say that this place is my favorite restaurant, at this point I don’t know anymore. The family wanted to eat at the Chiloso located off loop 288, store # 312, in Denton, Tx. We got ready to pay and I pulled out my Chiloso punch card since we earned a free meal. The person working the register, Phillip N., stated that we can't combine our punch cards together to get the free meal. When I asked why, he stated because that's how corporate wants it. Keep in mind, that on the punch card, it states nothing about not being able to combine numerous cards that you have to get the free meal. So how does that work??? If you forget your initial punch card, and you have to get a new one because you don't have it with you, and you have to continue getting different cards, you will never achieve a free meal??? I have had so many restaurants that have had no problem combining all punches on one card for me and have witnessed it with other customers. Correct, Chiloso is not other restaurants, but all of the other restaurants that participate in the punch card program have never had an issue with combining. The other thing is that we were told is that we only get one punch per transaction. We paid for 5 people, $60.00, and we only get one punch? Where does it state that? We are not happy with his customer service or his personality! We won't be coming back to this location either! This was record yesterday a police officer, a couple months back told me I don't have the right to free speech.Well, they will serve me in viction notice.Passing forward to yesterday, I decided to call the court and report the police officer for discrimination.And I cursed them out, which is my legal right.Well, according to this place, you don't have the right Unfortunately the fire me. And I was a Brown person, and the only puerto rican in the store this is America. A cops should not be calling your job to get you fired. Because he was harassing, you first. Let's not forget that texas is very racist against color people, things that you're doing outside of your work is affecting is affecting your work. So by what just multiple calls and complaints that aside from work. Unfortunately, your decisions that you're doing out there affected your job with us. We don't want a person with what you've been doing like. That's not just who I want. We've been calling. I guess the courthouses and like being very vulgar.
