I am very disappointed and frankly appalled that Stephanie, who I had been seeing for at least a year, is now withholding (converting) more than $350 of my advanced payments towards lash services. She claims that the advance payment is nonrefundable in the form of a gift card, but we never signed a contract to that effect nor did she ever send me a copy of the company policy. She either doesn't have the money or wants to keep it, so she made up rules that I never agreed to and stole unearned funds. No one in their right mind would purchase a non-refundable $500 package. I don't suggest you ever pay more than your service here. They will not work with you nor will they refund the money, they just keep it. I would never do that to any of my clients.
Stephanie is also incredibly unprofessional and over-reactive. There is no way you can reason with her or otherwise conduct business in a professional way. When dealing with a service issue, she simply tells you to stop threatening her and refuses to engage any further. The business has no way of dealing with unhappy customers except for saying, "We're keeping your money, now get lost." After bad mouthing her other techs about their sub-par services, she will reschedule you with them if she's too busy, hungover, or sick.
The conversion of money is aside from the ongoing cancellations, rescheduling, and impossibility to get in within 2 weeks' notice for refills. For a professional working customer, that is in no way attractive. I spoke to other lash studios who agreed that they would have refunded the money and avoided further disputes with the customer. They also have many more techs and available spots for customers weekly.
I referred clients to Stephanie and I am appalled by her unprofessionality, her drama, and her demeanor. It's all great until there's a dispute. She offered to convert the unearned $350 to other services at the studio, which is impossible given she's made the relationship hostile and uncomfortable. I would never trust her again with my business or my money.

Read moreI went to 303 Lash Academy and took their duo Classic and Volume class, to say I was impressed would be a massive understatement. The training I obtained was absolutely amazing. The two instructors Stephanie and Abbey never took their eyes off of me and constantly gave me encouragement, support and guidance during both my models, mannequin practice and every other moment of each day. Both Abbey and Stephanie have slightly different lashing techniques so I was taught different ways and was able to find my own techniques that were customized to what felt most natural and comfortable to me. Their training manual is very thorough and has all the information to answer any question you could possibly have, definitely the Bible of eyelash extensions, lol. The kit that was included with the class was absolutely adorable and has everything you need to begin your lashing career. It was such an uplifting, warm environment and I was very comfortable! Abbey and Stephanie are both just the sweetest, kind hearted individuals and Im so grateful for their time and training! Not to mention their suites are beautiful, very chic and professional… To any aspiring lash artists, I couldn’t recommend 303 Lash Academy enough!! Read moreReally wanted to like this place as the woman was nice but my experience was actually horrible. I got a lash lift and a significant portion of my lashes seemed to rip from my right eye and resulted in a very crooked perm (slanted towards the center rather than up). I've had a lift done several times and the method was not at all the norm (for example: washing my lashes with water that spilled all over me). In addition to the bad job, her kids came running in halfway through and were running around while my eyes were shut due to the perming. They were running into my chair, running around, fighting and playing loud games. I really never leave bad reviews but if I were advising a friend, I'd tell them to try somewhere else.
UPDATE: Was called by the owner and given a refund, apology and offer to fix the mistake. Obviously they care about customer service and this probably wasn't typical for them. That being said, the experience was outside beyond the range of expected service that I won't be...
