AMAZING FOOD 6 STARS this is literally the first chinese food in denver I've found that's worth an fawq. not only is it good, it may be the best I've had nationwide. portion sizes were great too.
everything is hand made. they still call a Rangoon a "crab cheese wanton" listing the ingredients, but that's because local white coloradians aren't the brightest I guess. 3 words over one, wow guys. anyway, the Rangoon are awesome.
I really wish the dishes had more veg, especially cabbage in the twice cooked pork, and broccoli in the general tso chicken. maybe a few pineapple in the generals? the Mongolian chicken was AMAZING, bursting with flavor! all the same, the twice cooked pork was one of the best I have ever had, ever. generals was delicious and delightful too!
we were amazed at the customer service, and attention to detail we saw. while waiting shortly for a menu, we saw a woman come in asking about sun glasses she had left, and instantly received them from the front desk. a moment later a worker ran out the front door to give one last item for a large To-go order. this impressed us very much, they were very busy, and still on top of things 👏 👍🏼.
the food is low heat, so if you like spicy be sure to SAY SO. they are so wonderful to make each dish to order, it will be how you ask for it.
I can not emphasize enough how wonderful the food here is. it's a drive from littleton but when I want chinese this is where I will go from now on. no need to review other chinese, I will recommend this to everyone 👌 🙂
the best part for me, might not matter to others, but they have ginger ale available as a soft drink. I...
Read moreBeing true hearted foodies and a talented culinary couple we tried China Beijing tonight. Recommended by a few peeps and new to the neighborhood two blocks away tonight we decided to dine in. Of course, we looked at the reviews. Which For the most we're awesome, one can tell all 1 star reviews are easily interpreted to be from Mostly disgruntled Unhappy and negative people. It was pretty easy to Decipher a true negative review From somebody just being petty. All of the 5 star reviews We absolutely agree with. We are Assuming the owner was our Host. As she told us her father arrives very early in the morning To prepare everything fresh meats included. And let me tell you she is not kidding. The food is so incredibly fresh, flavourful pungent It was absolutely an amazing meal. What a nice surprise and a great dinner. We just moved from Washington Park where we had our favorite go to place what a complete difference. The restaurant is tucked away in between target and Ace Hardware. We will definitely be back very soon! And yes, the Mongolian beef was amazing! We were a little surprised that showing up at 8 PM on a Saturday It wasn't packed, but it is a holiday weekend. The attentiveness to the new Patrons That arrived truly showed how much they love what they do and how they run their business. Our host bragged about everything that we were gonna order as she should have. The restaurant is very clean. Very simply decorated with the beautiful fish tank at...
Read moreThe pictures attached are not from this restaurant. These are the pictures of what we were expecting when we ordered the egg fu young. I unfortunately did not take a photo of what was served but it was not this. It was drenched with oyster sauce.
The food was decent. Service was good. Given the looks of the hallway to the bathroom, I'd love to see the cleanliness of the kitchen 🤔, but I'll stick to the food and experience.
The egg drop soup was very good.
The Thai Spice Soup wasn't great. It wasn't terrible..it just lacked flavor and no bean sprouts, not enough chicken or vegetables. It was a lot of broth with not enough coconut flavor.
The springs rolls were huge but had no basil or bean sprouts!?? It was just noodles, lettuce, and shrimp.
The Egg fu young was interesting... it wasn't bad.. the flavor was actually ok..but again no real flavor other than the sauce it was drenched in. Could have used bean sprouts, onions, and less sauce. The egg fu young we've had in the past, everything was inside the egg/pancake... this was egg patties smothered with the food/sauce on top.
The Chow Fun was actually pretty good. The shrimp, meat, and noodles had good flavor. Could have used bean sprouts and more vegetables.
The service was good, the staff was friendly. Overall a good experience. Not sure I'd drive 45+ minutes to eat here again unless I've tried...
