QDOBA Mexican Eats — Restaurant in Denver

This Qdoba is awful. I should know, I used to work here. Here are the problems.

The food they make is usually made in the morning or the previous day and put in a bag. That queso that you are eating was probably made yesterday. Same with the meat. Sometimes, when they make chicken and it isn't used, they put it in a bag that isn't sealed and put it in the refrigerator. Then the next day they will bring it out and mix it with chicken they made the next morning. The chicken is only supposed to last a couple of hours, not 14.

They don't cook the meat properly. For every restaurant, they are supposed to temp the meat with a thermometer. Here, nah. If it looks done it probably is, I dunno. I was cooking chicken and one of the managers, Ana, kicks me off after taking too long to ensure the chicken is cooked and just throws it all in the container. Doesn't even temp it and some of them were still a little raw. She also dropped a piece on the floor, picked it up with the tongs, and put it in the container. Disgusting.

They provide bad customer service. The majority of the time, there is hardly anyone up front for customers, especially close to closing time. They are often rude as the majority of them don't understand English very well. They also treat their employees poorly. The motto pretty much is, "If you aren't Hispanic you are a piece of trash and don't know anything".

For the customers, if you go to this restaurant and Ana, Judy/Judith, or Trayvon are working, go to another restaurant. Its not worth it to be disrespected or to get sick from eating a piece of meat that was made...

Have had some bad experiences here. First three times I went:

1. 30 mins before close time on the door. Staff had already locked up and wouldnt let anyone in. There were about 3 of us outside trying to figure out what was going on and they just acted like we didn't exist.

2. Girl at the register rang me up for a single burrito and the total was $17.....I said that was wrong and she argued with me until a manager came out and fixed it.

3. Girl working the line gave me the skimpiest portions Ive ever seen. Barely any chicken so I asked for extra. Second scoop was even less than the first. Had no flavor because the wheat tortilla drowned everything else out.

Other than those times it has been okay. Pretty good food and a lot of it.

Update: the service here continues to dissappoint. Pulled up 15 minutes after they open and they were turning someone else away. I walked in and they didnt even have any of the food on the line yet. Rice was still cooking. Stood there for 2 or 3 minutes while they worked. Nobody acknowledged me and manager was visably annoyed that I was there. Wont be coming back.

Another Update: I've tried time and again to give this place a chance because I like the Qdoba franchise, but this location is just so incredibly bad. Rude and incompetent employees, poor sanitary standards, and just all around poor food quality. Can't give more than 1 star...

This is the second time I have called up here to talk to a manager and the worker that pick up the phone was very rude and disrespectful and hung up on my when I told her I can hear u talking in Spanish.. and when I start talking to u in Spanish you go and hang up on me. So I go and talk to the manager at the store and Oliva the Gm is so unprofessional when talking to her. I recorded the conversation so people can see how there are when there rude.. this is very poor and unprofessional of Oliva the Gm.. if someone higher then her want the video I'll be more then happy to give it to u. All over a call to see if my Lil nefu working there. Why u have people apply and be so rude tho them when they call up there. Then you lady's think someone cant speak Spanish and what to talk bad. And when I got on the phone for him they wanted to act different. Don't say your hiring and act like that when they call to check the status of there application. I hope she gets a write up for this. I'll keep pushing for her to get a write up or more for this.. they don't let me post the video or I'll will. But if they don't respond I'll post on all social...
