This a really old, and beautiful library with old fashioned fixtures. It wasn't very busy or crowded when I went. Pretty quiet. Staff was neither friendly nor rude. Just kept to themselves mostly. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the building was fairly warm (not a good thing in the summer) to the point I was starting to sweat, and there is no wheelchair access that I saw. We came to use our laptops and there was plenty of comfortable seating with access to outlets, which is exactly what we needed. Read moreThe park hill branch library is nicely appointed and has all the basics. This branch hosts a steady stream of events for young and old. The staff is friendly and helpful. Despite its small size, they have a surprisingly good assessment of books, magazines, DVDs and other resources. I don’t typically use the computers but many patrons do. Never going again. If i want to go to a library i want to find the book there not online??? That was their suggestion! We are talking very classic widley known books i have checked there for many many times with no success. What a waste of a library! Lloks like the only people who go there are toddlers....
