George Wallace Park is such a great spot, especially for a walk with the dog! It’s a family favorite spot to visit! The loop is big and has a little bit of everything—open grassy areas, picnic tables, and even workout equipment along the path that lots of people were using. We stopped at the playground during our walk—it’s small but fun and has all the essentials like a slide, swings, and monkey bars, which was perfect for a quick play.

There's workout equipment on the North side, a kid's playground in the middle, and a really fun little man made creek that runs the length. This park has a stream of water running through it and walking paths all around. There is a playground in the middle, exercise equipment on the north end along with a bike repair station on the north side. There are picnic tables and benches located throughout the park.
