As a lifelong DQ fan, my most recent visit has left me feeling very sad and disappointed to see where things have gone with this DQ location. This location has provided intermittently poor and slow service over the years, but the experience last night was terrible! One of the employees, a young man named Ray, presumably high school student at Cherry Creek, was sitting in the restaurant portion with 4-5 of his friends while a line amassed at the front of store. Pam, the manager, was the only one actually working. Once the line was 6 people deep, Ray returned from visiting with his friends to take people's orders. He did not wash his hands, and while taking people's orders he was alternating between being on his phone and chewing on his cuticles. Pam was working very hard, but one concern I had was that she was wearing a poorly applied gauze to the right side of her face. It was not sealed, whatever it was covering could have easily bled into the food. Those both are serious health code issues.

Anyways, I came in to get blizzards and asked about the ones with chunks of Graham in it and which ones had it... front counter girl had no idea and asked the guy with glasses in the back, he then says "there's only one kind and its in the summer." Not true at all cause the pumpkin pie one has the Graham in it and i had it during Halloween lol. Then he points to one called the Royal cheesecake and it says it has graham in it... i was like really guy?? Anyways i wasn't that bothered until i saw the guy in the back handling food with no gloves, i then watched him make my blizzards as well with no gloves... so who's to say what his hands have been touching and i was pretty grossed out. Then the guy coughs pretty much right on my blizzards. I'm honestly not going to come back there again and I'm highly disappointed because it costs 15 dollars for two medium blizzards... what a rip off. Overall she was very friendly and polite, as well as patient while dealing with my (admittedly) complicated order. **All while taking other orders, bussing tables and taking people their food, and still staying busy behind the counter refilling things adjusting the bag inside the ice cream machine! She’s clearly a hard working motivated young lady, and I’d honestly be disappointed if she isn’t running the place after some time and training. She is 100% manager material! I know how hard it is to find workers right now, especially ones who show up motivated eager to work. I don’t know how much she’s making there, but I hope DQ offers her a raise to keep her around.
