We have been to some of the incredibly rated and incredibly expensive sushi places in the region and enjoyed them. But we were hadn’t yet found a clean and delicious sushi restaurant for more casual dining and on a more realistic budget. Now we did. We drove across Dan Road from Aurora, not entirely sure what to expect. The outside is very unassuming, but the great reviews here are what made us park and walk in. We ordered at the counter, and there are non-sushi items. Everything looked good. The staff were super friendly. We took our seat and waited for our food to arrive. Our plate of sushi is pictured here. We also had some edamame. The tuna sashimi was a particularly large portion. They have a good selection of sushi, and seemed willing to make changes in the rolls as needed. Everything was fresh and tasty. The sweet potato roll could have been a little softer? Maybe? No complaints. Portions and price were perfect. Glad to have found this place - and plan on coming back many more times.

EDIT 9/26/24: Visited this place one more time to see if they serve similar portions and quality. This time, I tried some nigiri as well. The fish quality was decent. The chef gave us extra nigiri per order; greatly appreciated. Only thing I noticed was that the rice wasn't cooked all the way. It may just be this time, as it was fine during my first visit. ORIGINAL: What a surprise. They do not mess around with the amount of fish in the poke bowl. Thinking that the poke bowl itself wouldn't be enough, I got a yellowtail roll as well. I did not have to at all. The aqua vibe had salmon and smoked salmon, and it was delicious all around. They covered the smoked salmon with sesame seed (I didn't mind at all), which made it different; in a good way. The yellowtail roll was okay. 18 dollars for the amount of salmon I got was really worth it. Sushi/sashimi are really expensive nowadays, and I appreciate their portion size very much.

A terrific little gem tucked literally in the corner. Hard to find but worth it. Excellent curry Ramen and excellent poke bowl. Daily specials are great as they include a roll. Def coming back and bringing fam. 2nd visit and it is as good as 1st. This is hard to find coz it's literally tucked in a corner but is worth the find. Had the curry ramen again and it was every bit as good as memory. Tried the softshell crab and it was delightful. Wife had the seafood poke bowl and enjoyed it just the same. This is a consistently good place to check out.

Best poke place in Denver by far!! There are tons of options for customizing your poke bowl and they are not afraid to give their customers tons of fish in their bowls. Each and every ingredient is fresh including the fish which the owner takes special care to make sure is as fresh as possible for you. The owner is so welcoming and nice! The place is very clean and charming. They even do special discounts for students. It is truly a hidden gem! Support your local small businesses and give this place a try. It will easily become your favorite stop for poke,...
