I am upset to write this review. I needed a refrigerator installed after mine stopped working. After one week of searching, I ordered a refrigerator from Home Depot, and they told me it would take a week to be delivered to my house. This would make it two weeks without a refrigerator. The day of delivery comes, and the men who delivered it said they couldn’t install the refrigerator because of the copper wiring we had. They called a service number for a plumber, and the lady on the line said that it would take a week to get a plumber to come to my home (ridiculous). I was already at two weeks of not having a refrigerator, I could not do a third week. They said I would get plumbing for free, But that didn’t matter, because I have children to feed. They did say that an outside company could come and fix the wiring, and call them when it was done, and they would deliver it. The men who delivered said they could not leave the refrigerator with me, EVEN THOUGH I ALREADY PAID FOR IT; they had to take it back to the warehouse. I called Home Depot, and asked them if they could reimburse me for the plumbing I paid for, in which they said no. Then instead of a refund, I asked if I could get a credit to their store, because we do need to buy more appliances for our home. They flat out told me there was nothing they could do for me. Without hesitation, I called Davis plumbing, and they came out and fixed my problem. Once that was fixed, I called Home Depot AGAIN and asked if they could come and deliver my refrigerator. They told me It could not be delivered for another week. I completely lost it on them and told them it was unacceptable to go a third week without a refrigerator especially having children to feed, and to fix the problem. The lady who was trying to help me ensured delivery within two days. We will see if they show up on Saturday. In all, I would not use Home Depot to buy...
Read moreDo Not Order Any Big Ticket Item from Home Depot ANYWHERE that needs to be delivered. Hate that Home Depot makes it difficult to review the entire network and forces it upon a specfic store yet they do. And so, although the store itself did the best they could when we made a huge purchase of: fridge, dishwasher, washer, dryer, installation of all, plus 3 year warranty for each, they couldn't stop the ABSOLUTE CHOP SHOP that is Home Depots delivery servers. The subcontractor is nightmare. Our story is ridiculously long and complex and I'll save the narrative. Long story short, 8 attempts to deliver, 2 different occasisions of damages that Home Depot did pay out yet fell awfully short on their estimates, a washing machine delivered defective brand new, and drivers who don't know how to measure and/or move heavy items. It nearly turned comical if it wasn't so aggravating. If I wasn't equipped with know how and a tenacious attitude, Home Depot would have screwed us over. I can't imagine the amount of people who get screwed over b/c they give up. In the end, they tried to buy our silence for $350. If they paid us $350 we couldn't tell anyone, write reviews, or go to the media. It was mafia style nonsense. We told them to beat it. If you're unsure, just Google "Home Depot Delivery Nightmares" or something along those lines and you'll read STORY AFTER STORY of this happening. The dudes who come to your house are clowns. The call centers folks who "manage" the deliveries- CLOWNS. Spend a few bucks more and go to a mom and pop shop. Never again. Oh and the only reason things got moving towards us getting our proper items is I found the CEO of customer satisfication and started emailing him. Hour later things started happening. Even with him involved, major moronic mistakes still happened. Home Depot-...

Apparently asking someone at the paint desk to mix you paint is reason to be yelled at. And calling the manager, who will not tell you his full name, is not good idea either.
There is a real problem at this store. When I wait patiently for help, telling the associate to take his time, I do expect that he will, eventually, mix some paint for me. My mistake. I was told to "Grab some Rust-Oleum off the shelf". I explained that Rust-Oleum does not come in the color I need. He raised his voice and yelled that I have to just get something off the shelf.
I tried calling the manager and someone who called himself Mike got on the phone. Mike refused to tell me his last name. When I told Mike what happened he asked if I knew who it was. I told him I didn't know his name. In my defense, I didn't want to ask while being yelled at. Then Mike started yelling at me! "I have 3 men working that desk and you can't tell me who it was?". I told Mike twice not to yell at me. Mike continued and offered no help. There was not 3 men at the counter. I was there for well over 10 minutes. And if there were 3 men there, why couldn't one of them mix me a gallon of paint?
There is a Lowes right around the corner. I have 3 houses, all painted inside and out with Behr paint. No more. Lowes can match any color of almost any paint. I'll be going there...
