My friend and I came in on Sunday, August. 3, and was immediately taken to our table. That was the only speedy thing about this visit here. However, they put us directly under the air conditioner -- we were freezing. Then after about 10 minutes a server came by and introduced herself as Ashley. She asked what we wanted to drink and brought our drinks about 5 minutes later. She asked if we were ready to order and we gave her our orders. It was about 10 minutes later and she came with the salad, soup, and breadsticks. Not even 3 minutes later someone else brought out the entrees. So now, we hardly got to touch the salad and soup when our meals were sitting under the air conditioning getting cold. I guess they wanted us to eat and get out of there.
Once we finished eating, it was a good 15 minutes before we even saw Ashley again. She asked if there was anything else and we said no. She didn't even offer the option of dessert. We asked for to-go boxes which she immediately brought.
We were sitting there waiting for the check for about 15 minutes - it seemed like an hour - before we saw her again. She then helped us with the stupid machine on the table to pay. They don't even check you out - a machine does it. How lazy can these people get. I guess she figured once she brought the to-go boxes, her job was done.
There was a time when your waiter/waitress was a server and all your needs from "Hi, my name is _" to " thanks for coming and have a good day." Now it's just an order-taker.
I really doubt if I will go back here again. Service was horrible, drink was watered down with a ton of ice, and the food was mediocre.
My impression when I left there was that their idea was throw the food at them and don't worry about good customer service. Our server didn't even earn $3/hour, let alone the $5.62 minimum that she gets. I guess I will stick with Carrabba's for Italian food -- always excellent service, good drinks, and...
Read moreOlive Garden...this will not be pleasant and you won’t enjoy this, but deserve every ounce of what I’m about to unleash on you. Judging from the other comments on here, I’m not alone, but every horror story about today needs to be put out there so everyone can see, and get an idea of the incompetence that was on full display today. So we place an order at 12pm today and was quoted a pickup time of 4pm. We arrive at said pickup time only to be told that they were 45 minutes behind. Being that my wife is a manager in the restaurant industry as well, we were patient and understanding of the situation. Well 45 minutes came and went, and our order was still not brought out. Again understanding the day and the situation, we chose to continue to give you guys the benefit of the doubt and showed more patience. So let’s press the fast forward button to 6pm, and as you probably guessed, we still didn’t have our order!!! Now mind you, people were pulling up at 5:30 and were walking out with their order TEN MINUTES LATER!! Can someone else see what’s wrong with this picture??? So at this point we say enough is enough, and my wife asks to speak with the manager. Now instead of doing the right thing and getting the manager, whoever the fruit loop was that was at the front door tells my wife, “I’ll get him if he’s not busy.” Um....WHAT?!? Very wrong answer!!! You sir a complete imbecile for saying that to someone who has already been waiting TWO HOURS for their food!!! Yeah needless to say dropping the ball is a severely gross understatement on this one Olive Garden!! Ya might want to reevaluate your management and or operations moving forward, especially since Father’s Day is right around the corner, and there seems to be no signs of this stay at home order ending anytime soon for the restaurant...
Read moreI came to have dinner to celebrate an important occasion after the dinner rush was over on a weeknight. Everything was fine until my chicken dish, I believe it was called chicken Giordano, arrived. It was a rather unremarkable dish in my opinion. It didn't outwardly smell or taste bad but it didn't sit right with me. I was about halfway done eating when I began to feel ill and excused myself to the bathroom. I will not get into details but stall 1 was destroyed and needing cleaning I was shocked at what I saw. Stall 2 was closed and I Believe occupied, and stall 3 was destroyed worse than stall 1. I walk out of bathroom and abruptly run back to my table and I proceed to quickly pack up and pay for the meal. I am leaving simply because I had no where to go to the bathroom and noone attempted to offer me a viable alternative or offer to clean the men's room. At this point I had not made the connection between my emergency need to use the bathroom and the condition of the bathrooms until my friend ate my leftovers for lunch the following day at work and almost immediately ended up in the bathroom in a dire way. At least he was able to sit down because he didn't have those unlucky souls that probably ate the same meal we did ahead of him like I had at the olive garden bathroom. *Update... 10.13.2020. One would think management would have reached out to me about my experience... And I am sure management saw this. Even checkers Manager. Posted a response to me the next day. It al makes plenty of sense though they simply didn't care. I have not been back to any Olive Garden nor do I plan too. Simply put plenty of good places to eat that care and will a lot more appreciative of...
