Why am I reviewing you now,I didn't even get the chair yet, can I at least get it in my home and sit in it first before I post my review. Update, what a total bait and switch! When visiting the store on the day of my purchase, was shown, a recliner ,that rocked and reclined ,but had a fabric cover, told sales associate, I liked it but I wanted leather,she directed me to a recliner that was the same but in leather, 500$ rocker recliner,manual recliner. Then she wanted to show me another chair for 1499 $ ,that had everything on it ,lights, motor for recliner, vibrating. At that point I stopped her and said ,I was not interested in any type of chair that had a motor ,or lights or anything that needed to be plugged in, I strictly wanted, a leather recliner with no motor. And she said then you want the 500$ model ,and we picked a color . Or so I though! Turns out the floor madel wasn't available for several weeks, so somehow someone decided to order me the chair I specifically stated I didn't want, the power model that doesn't even rock, I knew something was fishy as soon as I saw the power cord on the new chair, I didn't waste my time trying to explain it to the delivery crew, they were from Venezuela, and didn't understand English when you start saying something is wrong. So I went back to the store, and sure enough the 500$ leather rocker recliner is still there. And I see the same sales associate that I dealt with the first time,she claims she didn't remember me, so the shuffle me off to the managers desk,and assure me they are going to fix everything. We go thru the whole story again, they reorder the correct chair,and pass me off to another sales associate, now this girl writes me all up and informs me that since I was overcharged, I now have An in store credit for 116.62. I inform her the mistakes were not mine, why am I being forced to spend more money at the store than I intended. And her response was a shoulder shrug and a reply it's in your paper work "we don't give refunds " , at that point the original manager in training comes by to see how things are going, and I inform him not well ,that I'm getting an instore credit that I don't want. He tries to get me to come back to the manager desk, and I inform him no ,you had your chance, now I'm going to trash you on social media. And I left .I didn't even get out of the parking lot ,and my phone was ringing, It was the store manager, he said he would mail me a check for my refund.,That was two weeks ago,I've checked my bank account, there have been no refunds from Bob's Discount Furniture, and I have not received a check. I recently visited the Bob's Furniture showroom, and I want to start by saying that the staff at this location is incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, and I truly appreciated the attentiveness of the team. The showroom itself offers a wide variety of options, making it easy to find something that fits both my needs and style.
My initial experience in-store was great, and I was excited to make a purchase.
However, as I was finalizing my decision, I encountered an issue with my invoice. It seems that I was misquoted regarding the price of my couch, which included the extended warranty. Unfortunately, the invoice did not reflect this price accurately, leading to confusion. Despite my attempts to clarify the situation, it appeared to be an error in their system, and no one seemed willing to honor the quoted price. I was told by the sales rep that the price was what appeared on their tablet and invoice, but when it came time to finalize the transaction, the price was not upheld.i also have a screenshot to prove it
Another point of contention is the delivery fees. I found it puzzling that the delivery charge, which is based on the price of the furniture, was set at $350 for the “white glove service.” While I understand the need for delivery fees, this seemed excessive for the service provided, especially considering the circumstances around my pricing issue.
I’m still on the fence about purchasing the sofa due to these concerns. I’m trying to be generous with my rating because Andrew, my sales representative, was genuinely helpful and attentive to my needs. However, the lack of flexibility from management regarding the pricing discrepancy has left me disappointed. It seems like a corporate issue, and I hope that the company re-evaluates its delivery fees and away to give managers to adjust pricingespecially for larger items like sofas. Additionally, I believe that the store should have been able to honor the quoted price or offer a reasonable credit for the error.in a gift card etc
Overall, while I appreciate the friendly service and variety, I hope for a more streamlined experience in the future
I tried calling corporate I got it back-and-forth with them to team up with the store manager, so nothing seemed consistent and resolving my issue and making this a better situation for me. As the Manager said he wasn’t able to adjust anything for me.

Read moreWe tried a couple furniture stores and didn’t find anything. So we went to Bob’s hoping to find furniture for my new house. All I can say is…WE LOVE BOBS!!!!!!!
Amanda was incredible!!! She was so friendly and greeted us right away, made us feel comfortable and let us know they have a complimentary cafe in the back. It was magical!!!!! We found a couch we loved and Amanda helped us make an educated decision about what pieces were needed and which would help us stretch a buck on the set.
I have to emphasize that Amanda didn’t make us feel pressured to overspend or buy unnecessary items. She gave us honest feedback and helped me feel confident about my buying priorities.
Then we went upstairs to look for a mattress and I can’t tell you help helpful it was to have Amanda’s advice…because I don’t know the first thing about mattresses!!!!!! The mattress we picked was perfect for me since I have lower back pain. I’m finally gonna get a good nights sleep thanks to Amanda. I won’t be rolling on my side to get out of bed anymore!! Wooooo!!!!
Once we settled on the pieces we wanted Chuck came over and checked in with us about the experience and to help us with some financing options. I am so grateful. I don’t usually leave Google reviews but my goodness this experience was worth typing it out!
Finally the Manager came over and helped us get it all shipped. It was easy peasy. It just shows us to your house and you get a 3 hour window…I’m not going to be waiting all day for a delivery. SOOOO NICE!!!!
If you’re anxious about buying furniture, go to Bob’s. They will help you buy what you need and make good choices, with honest advice. Amanda even gave us suggestions for where to buy pillows for the new couch!!
