DO NOT HAVE A PARTY HERE! Unless of course you’re into paying $800 Dollars for an empty room, an absent party host, and poor management. I chose to do this so that I could have an stress-free night. Jokes on me, this was the most stressful night ever. When we arrived, I had to spend 30 minutes up at the front desk because as the parents were arriving no one was explaining anything to them- so everyone was just standing there not knowing what to do and the kids working at the front were not helping at all- and the only thing they were saying was “party room four upstairs” but they were not actually directing anyone there or walking with them, nothing. So after I was done checking people in, I went to find this party room where I expected there to be a host and for it to look like there was a party— and what I found was an empty room with no indication that there was a party happening there whatsoever. There had been no one upstairs at any point to tell any of the kids or parents what was going on. So basically, the kids were just taking their shoes off and running out to go play. The problem with this was that most of these kids did not know one another, they only knew the birthday child. This resulted in three separate Instances of me finding a child crying alone by themselves bc they felt so uncomfortable because they didn’t know who was who and they felt all alone. Now It’s 30 minutes into the party and I go back up to the party room followed by multiple sweating children to find that there is still nothing in this room- no water or anything. I had to go up and down the stairs, trying to find a party host to get them bring water. I finally found one and 10 minutes later he came up with two pitchers of water and proceeded to leave- I shortly realize there was no cups in this room I had to go back down the stairs to find him again. He then brought up cups and within seconds, the two pitchers were empty and he just tried to walk away. At this point, I was livid and went to find the manager, but instead found the owner (Sam?). He said he would handle this and have multiple pitchers of water brought upstairs. When it was time for the food, the party hosts brought up five burnt pizzas (see photos) and began handing them out. They said almost nothing to any of the kids, did not explain that there was other food that they had shoved in a corner and left unopened that I had paid for, there was no excitement or energy coming from them, etc. I had also paid for ice cream and popcorn, which I ended up having to give out. Then it came time for the cake. I had already verified with the party host that the game cards that I had purchased were ready to go bc the kids were antsy and had been asking for them for awhile and he had assured me there they were but that he didn’t want to give them out before the cake bc then the kids would leave and it would be hard to get them back up there for cake. All of the containers of cupcakes were up on the counter and they made no effort to hand them out as the two birthday kids were sitting there with their cupcakes with lit candles that had melted all the way down all over their cupcakes as everyone else sat there with none and the singing was still not initiated. I quickly handed the cupcakes out because they were not. Now the cake is done and I ask for the game cards to be given out, and the host disappears. Apparently, they were not ready and he had to go make them. Now this is 15 minutes before the party is supposed to be over and all the kids disappeared to go jump. He finally comes back and hands me an envelope of cards because there is no kids in the room anymore. Now I had to find these kids and give them out and keep track of who got one and who didn’t. It was a nightmare. I then asked to see the owner again and went through all of this with him and he did absolutely nothing other than give one excuse after another, there was absolutely no part of him that was willing to take any accountability for not providing the experience that I had been promised and had paid a lot...
Read moreBirthday party experience! Booking party was easy..The booking manager or whomever seemed very knowledgeable and provided most info...But on the day of.....everything changed. The planner apparently did not follow up with my party host and much info was miscommunicated....From the party room all the way to the end with laser tag.....I would suggest that there are experienced party hosts working parties since they do get tipped generously which is suggested and I always follow through with even if the party was below my expectations. I did get my initial room request so that worked out well. (Even my party host was unaware of the rule of odd party times with odd room numbers.??? I specifically had a long conversation with party planner about having my specific requested room) Hoagie tray was embarrassing...There is no way it feeds 10-12 for the money spent. I would have purchased my own and brought in my own tray. Thank goodness my parent guests were not that hungry. Check in 12:40-12:45 was not explained that that counted as Jump time....There is usually a period of time for waiver completion (which most did beforehand...) and check in so that I did not have to answer questions at the counter while my son waited with me before he got to enjoy is own party....before jump time actually starts so a full hour was not received. Also, did not know that the Birthday Child had to pay. Never was told this until the day of. You think spacing $600 plus for a party and my son would be free - he did get a standard T-shirt which I could have done without. The food was ok, which I expected the very small pizzas to be. Unlimited refills were not unlimited and most kids poured their own anyway even with 2 kids in there to help. Also, Ice cream cups should not be frozen and I mean frozen. Kids should be able to eat them before or even while eating cake....Then onto laser tag....I was told to ask which kids wanted to play...All of them wanted to so they all thought they would.....I then had to tell more than half the kids after they were all patiently waiting....that they could not because of not having close toed shoes..I understand but really??? This could not be told to me so that I had the opportunity to let parents know ahead of time? I had kids crying because they could not do it. And also, I was told that everything....and I mean everything would be half price since I booked the party....which meant game cards and laser when I first got there to then be told there was a mistake and laser was full price...
I have had my son’s party’s at many different trampoline venues and in these years, aside from some minor confusion, they all went as planned or close to it...I never ever complain....and even if you ask the workers, I was very easy going and easy to get along with....BUT I have also spent money in the past to make sure the party was a hit and the hostess’ were generously compensated...But I felt this party did not go nearly as planned and left much to be expected. Overall, This would be a real place to visit for routine play time....but never again, for a party. But I guess it does not matter now since money was exchanged and my son had as much fun as he...
Read moreGiving two stars because the business concept is an attempt to something that could make sense for a parent and their children going out for some fun and quality time. Unfortunately we visited this place for the first time and the last. Paid $70. I did a $10 arcade card, got two pair of socks, and two hours of play for my three year old son and I. We got there at opening and the entire building was full with a camp. There was just absolute chaos. We waited in line for the entire camp to have waivers checked and finish their check in, understandably so! However the camp was obnoxious and out of control, not a single effort was made to help crowd control. Had something gone terribly wrong this business could have had massive tragedy getting to anyone with the way the camp consumed the whole building.. seriously I wish I was kidding. It is normal to have fun and be excited with large groups, this was just totally something different. My son had his face smashed into the walkway railing by a staff member of the camp, no social awareness from any of them. The dodgeball section was my sons favorite and went well considering how little he is.. and the ages playing were of all ranges. However the staff of Launch monitoring the game switched shifts I assume, and the girl who came in failed to correctly handle a child being overly aggressive. My son was hit incredibly hard and the staff member aimed the blame at my son. It should have been reconciled then and there, she should have told that player to calm themselves. It’s all in fun however the specific job of dodgeball is to enforce the rules. My three year old was not the only young player. He was hurt and I was able to console him with the ninja course and he wanted to continue to play. All the camp kids ran every direction causing a lot of almost serious impact between one another. It didn’t feel safe, and I know its a place where you “play at your own risk” but the staff was all over the place with young teens that don’t really seem to have any sense of responsibility, unfortunately. They were making bird calls to one another (literally) at the sight of what I assumed could be a shift lead.. as to not get caught being irresponsible. It was dirty, damaged, and worn down. For $70 I felt we enjoyed what we could, given my son enjoys anything entertaining. But we spent more time dodging inconsiderate camp staff and rambunctious out of control children than we did playing. It’s supposed to be fun. Regulations are in place to allow that fun. I’ll take my son to other places, this one is clearly going downhill. I’m sorry my review couldn’t be better. I couldn’t take the time to pry my child from trying to enjoy himself to go complain to whatever management was there, just to likely be dismissed because there was quite literally nothing they could have or would have done with that crowd. My son wouldn’t have understood why I was keeping him from playing to go reconcile any of this experience going to management. It was just awful.. staff members were miserable. Everything was just disgustingly dirty and not maintained what so ever. Maybe this place is just best for...
