Lauridsen Skatepark — Attraction in Des Moines

It's a wonderful skate park. Truly a nice place for action!! However I find it very sad how much garbage and trash is all over the place. 🚮🥤🗑🙏 Anywhere from pizza boxes- feminine wrappers- chip bags- huge plastic cups just rolling around. The bathrooms had absolutely zero toilet paper. Also garbage all over the floors inside the restrooms. The soap dispenser knocked off the wall and laying on the sink ( THERE WAS SOAP IN IT!!!) the garbage can was very empty and so I find it very confusing that only half of the bathroom is being cared for :( On thr bright note- GOSH!!! what a wonderful area 🛼🛹🏞 its simply the people attending and also employees that are supposed to upkeep could think about keeping our nice area clean and safe for each and every guest, the river, our city of Des Moines, and the Earth really appreciates 👏 ...

Amazing! Skatepark... It has everything in stages like rails handrails ledges boxes kickers bowls quarter pipes all at a certain size and then they go up a stage and you have the same thing at a little bigger size and a little bigger size. From very beginner to professional in every level in between from one two stair to 12 stair and a 7 stair 2 set. Lots of banks. Lots of drops and lots of space and a lot of variety of people from 2-year-olds to 60-year-old skateboarding. There's scooters and bikes, and roller blades. The rule says you can't have metal pegs on your bike. Just has to be plastic.

Is a fun trip. It's too bad it is 175 mi away or I'd go...

Ok hey i am NOT a boarder anymore , i was in a past lifetime when the skateboards were like a 2x4 with wimpy dangerous steel wheels screwed into the bottom ,so um that was 13-16 age ..

Well now we are at 2021 and i heard about the DEW TOUR to open /promote the new skate park and i went to check out all the hype ...THE HYPE IS REAL !!

They say it's the largest ,longest most tricked out park in the U.S. , maybe the world , well i won't disagree ..this boarder emporium is GINORMOUS and very well layed out !

Seriously people, anyone reading this , you MUST go see it if you can . I was totally impressed ,and i don't...
