My family and I came as a last minute option because some of our other activities got cancelled due to the wind and weather. We ended up getting way more out of this experience than we expected. First, the free presentation given by Lauren was fantastic. There was lots of information shared about alligators and they let you safely touch an alligator. This part alone and being able to walk around the exhibits was worth visiting this place. All of this was free. For a fee, you can hold an alligator and get your picture taken and printed. After that we went and had lunch at the attached restaurant and the food was delicious. We ended up going back and taking a guided tour through the exhibits. It was really great. Brad was our main guide. He was very knowledgeable and so patient with our seven year old son who asks a lot of questions and has plenty of commentary on his own! Another handler Chris would join us periodically and was also able to provide a lot of information. All three of the people working this day (Lauren, Brad, and Chris) were great. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed to genuinely enjoy teaching people about alligators…this wasn’t just a paycheck, if that makes sense. We were in town during off season so the place was not very crowded at all. During the busy season we were told they offer head sets that you can hear and speak to the tour guide through. This helps cancel out the crowd noise. We did not use these but it’s a great idea. We highly recommend going to visit the Gator Park if you are in the...

What. A. Day! 🐊💚
We went to the alligator park expecting a little fun—and ended up having an epic adventure! My son and daughter had the BEST time—feeding the gators, touching them (yes, we touched real live alligators 😳), and laughing nonstop. They were braver than I expected… and honestly, I might’ve screamed more than they did! 😅
But let’s talk about Brooke—our very own walking, talking gator encyclopedia with a fabulous sense of humor! This girl knew everything. From how gators hunt, to how many teeth they have, to fun facts I didn’t even know I needed. She made the whole experience even better—funny, smart, and totally fearless.
The kids were obsessed. They kept saying, “Wait, ask Brooke!” every time they had a question. We seriously need to get her on Animal Planet or something!
This place is a must-visit for families, thrill-seekers, or anyone who wants to get up close (but not too close!) to these amazing creatures. The staff was great, the gators were incredible, and Brooke made it unforgettable.
10/10 – We’ll be talking about this day for years. Long live the Gator Queen! 👑🐊💫 Thank you...
Read moreMy family and I visited Gator Beach for my daughters Fall Break. We took a private tour and Caleb was our guide. He was great and very patient and knowledgeable. I say patient because we were running a few minutes behind arriving. He called to check on us and did not seemed perturbed or slighted in the least by our tardiness. He was waiting outside when we arrived and since we were the only people on the tour he took us around and gave us a thorough and detailed briefing on Gator Beach, the enclosures and the reptiles. We were able to take pictures, video, and my wife and daughter fed and held baby alligators. I was expecting larger alligators and more interaction with them and the handlers, but once I realized this was that, I was able to appreciate the experience for what it was. I would recommend any visitors to Destin to visit Gator Beach at lease once! Thank you Gator Beach for the wonderful experience and all that you do for the wildlife and thank you review readers for reading this review! I think it is important to give positive feedback when you have a good experience and not just negative when things...
