As a designer I shop here on a weekly basis. Today I requested the cashier to put some tissue around the medium size artwork I was purchasing and the cashier not only refused but was extremely rude and catty about it. When I told her that in the past, even last week, I’ve never had an issue with wrapping the artwork she replied “well that was the past, this is today, hahaha”. As well as more remarks. When she could tell I was not happy she proceeded to tell me that I could take some paper with me and do it at home. I explained the reason I need it wrapped now is so it doesn’t get damaged leaving the store and then I would have to return it damaged. I’ve never had someone be so rude over a simple request. I’d rather shop somewhere else than encounter that type of negativity. I’ve always had great service here,...

The store was an absolute mess, lots of employees, who were socializing, not working. This store was so messy and unorganized it would take hours to find anything. At 8:30pm started the countdown to “Get Out”! at 9:00, not 9:30 as the website says. Every 3 minutes they would announce that their cash registers would turn off at 9:00pm. Did they? No! This was by far the worst Homegoods I have ever visited. Corporate, you are paying a lot of employees to run people off! I love HomeGoods. This was one a pleasant experience. They seemed to fit so many more things into their store and the choices were awesome. The artwork was beautiful and I wish I could have bought some to take back home with me, but we are traveling with two babies and the car is full. I was able to buy some home decor that I am really excited about and a toy for my son that he loves. Additionally, the customer service here was exceptional. The man working here helped me check a price of a heavy item and was incredibly pleasant, so was my cashier. I hope to come back on a future trip and more...
