If I could give this place zero stars I would. We have been here several times and have never had issue but today was insane.. and I get it, it was a rainy day so they were busy but the stuff the staff allowed to happen was absolute insanity. We went to do laser tag a huge group of kids came and cut in front of our kids because no one was monitoring the situation besides me who had to advocate for my kids. Then when they got inside my daughters gun wasn’t connecting to her vest so they made her leave the game and she (and all of her feiends) would have had to wait in line all over again to play. There is a contraption in the park that has two rotating arms with an obvious sign when entering that there is allowed one person per trampoline. The same group that got in front of us at laser tag came running into the circle and took out our four small girls. No one monitoring the area.. chaos. I was livid. There is a 7 and under section where we had two instances of my daughter and another little boy getting bombarded by older kids because, and I’m sure you see the theme, NO ONE WAS MONITORING IT. They have no time limit on the rock wall and a couple of kids were hanging out at the top of the wall playing “eye spy” and the person working that area allowed it to happen. We waited 45 minutes to do the rock wall because of it. Last but not least the zip line.. we waited an hour and 10 minutes to get on the zip line and the rope climb wasn’t even operating.. there was no one to take off or put on harnesses at one point and the line was crazy long. Like I said if I could leave zero stars I would. We spoke our concerns to the manager and she apologized and gave us a free pass for our next visit but god knows if we will even be...
Read moreMy original review had low rating as it was posted when park first opened and they clearly didn’t have it all together. More than a year passed and we are so excited they still here! Management is very friendly and upbeat. Kids that work there now are very helpful and some been working there for a while so we know all the faces. We are members and paying $35 a month for kid, toddler and parent. It gives you unlimited visits and popcorn with every visit. You have to subscribe for 12 months for that. Otherwise you paying per visit depending on package you pick (2 hours playtime) and it varies from $11.99(under 5yo toddler) to $34.99(all included:VR and laser tag etc) per person. Socks are required for everyone going to play area even if you are just watching over, they $2.99 each. Most attractions have height requirements so make sure your kid is tall enough to use them in order not to overpay for things you don’t need. Air flyer is 52 inch I think, my kid’s too short. But we still got full package so he can use laser-tag :| and VR. There ARE NO COVID PRECAUTIONS TAKEN so be ready for that. No masks required (however you can wear one) and no crowd control. There are dozens upon dozens of kids running around, jumping sweaty, touching things, wiping noses with no one spraying after each kid, which is impossible of course. Also weekends are very packed, uncomfortable to enjoy for smaller children. Try to go as soon as they opening up, you will get about 40 min decent start up time. Cafe there is okay for what it offers(fries, nuggets, pizza, icies, soda, beer etc). restrooms are clean. They have baby changing tables. Also toddler play area has swing, slide and is 3 levels high with obstacles, so dress accordingly!...
Read moreDestin so needed this indoor Adventure Park! There are activities for all ages!
Location- Urban Air Destin is located in the perfect spot. It is just off (the only main road in Destin) HWY 98 between The Palms of Destin and the Wal-Mart Supercenter. The parking lot is very large and can accommodate everyone.
Staff- Upon entering, guests are greeted with smiles and hand sanitizer. Guests are prompted to complete a one-time waiver. Staff were friendly, helpful, and interactive with the guests. On several occasions I witnessed the employees “playing” with the giggling younger guests. The staff was very conscious about the safety of every guest while at the same time making sure every guest was enjoying their experience.
Environment- Inside is low lighting, as the lighting changes from black to pink lights. Urban Air was advertising future glow parties, which really excited the kids. It was incredibly spacious and the layout was easy to navigate. Did not have trouble with crowds. The Café had numerous sodas, pizza, snacks, even beer and wine for those old enough to order.
Activities- There is an impressive amount of activities to explore. Toddlers have their own special area, complete with slides. For those older, there are floor to wall trampolines, dodgeball, drop zone (one of my favorites), a few timed warrior courses, climbing walls, sky rider (indoor zipline), battle beam, wipeout, and more. What a perfect location for a birthday party or just to meet up with friends. This is THE place to release energy, have healthy competition,...
