The food was good but not amazing, serving size was ok could've been way better, waiter was attentive and sweet, prices not great honestly I would say it's fine since it's near a tourist destination but these are just outrageous like come on not to mention there is NO SIGN that says we cannot come in with food but that's not what entirely what we were upset about, the owners attitude was completely unprofessional, she all of the sudden rude and defensive when we asked about it on the bill, she was acting completely entitled and saying how there was no reason she needed to put up a sign and us bring in some food for the kids was disrespectful to her space even though we ate there, over all she charged us 20 dollars for bringing in some fries and 10 wings we brought for the 3 kids. It's a 10 dollar charge per thing we brought which is just horrible I mean imagine if your kid has allergies and you needed to bring food for them, she really could've treated it better she basically told us it's her policy and she wasn't going to change it for anything. I just think it's ridiculous she tried to play the victim when all we wanted was a place to eat for the day. Not to mention the safety standards are horrible I mean as we were coming out when a kid tripped on some water that was left there with no wet floor sign. There is tons of place for improvement and a new attitude. If you want a good place to eat don't bother coming here, go to long horn just around the corner I bet you'll have a much better time, even better just go to texas the food is way better and there is NO hidden fees or bad service. Overall don't bring the family if you are looking for a place to eat, you will end up disappointed and feel discriminated by the owner making you feel inferior. I cannot stress how bad our experience was here, I hope it I will change because we will never go here again to see it. Another thing you must know is tip is included so keep that in mind they feel like they can act however they like because they will be paid anyway, we usually leave good tips between 20 and 50 but this whole experience felt like a waste of money it was just upsetting to be treated like this. I don't blame the server but the owner seriously needs to rethink...
Read moreWe were in Destin visiting, it was later in the evening and thought we'd try the Thai place near our hotel. Mind you it wasn't closing time and others came in after we did.
We had calamari & edamame for the appetizer. The calamari came out looking like onion rings - looked like it was bought in the grocery freezer section. The edamame was hit & miss warm - like it was microwaved. My daughter had the chicken fried rice and the chicken was small and dry, again like it was microwaved. I had the Thai Coconut Fried Rice. When I asked if there was Thai Basil in it I was told they could add it.
When it came out the shrimp were very dark and greasy. Upon trying it, again it looked & tasted like something from the grocery store. The shrimp were rubbery like they were either fried twice or fried and microwaved.
When I mentioned it to the server, she was pleasant and asked if I wanted something different. I just asked for the shrimp to be removed from our bill. She brought a plate because the 'chef' wanted to see them as others had complained.
Imagine my surprise when the bill came and the value of the shrimp was the same cost as the Thai Basil that was added to the dish. So I had plain fried rice with Basil and it was $20. Plain fried rice on their menu was about $12, and there wasn't $3 of basil on the dish. You can see the chicken fried rice was under $15.
I guess the last thing that aggravates me about this experience; the manager or maybe owner came out to the front of house after I spoke to our server. He stood across the restaurant, arms folded across his chest/waist, and mean mugged (nasty looks) us the rest of our meal. Never a word, not even have a good evening.
We tried this one because it was closer and had a little higher star rating. Here's to hoping others have a...

Stylish presentation and fresh, flavorful taste. Everything we ordered was hot and fresh! We ordered the wings they recommended, and they were beautifully glazed and garnished. They had a crispy, fresh-out-of-the-fryer shell, yet were tender enough to break apart so easily in your mouth. The Gyozas were light and crispy, our pickiest eater ate them with ease. The Tom Kar Gai had translucent, seemingly caramelized, onions with many different herbs and veggies to add to the texture and flavors. We ordered some things to go, but as of writing this review—I haven't eaten them yet. Per our prior experience with their food, I expect it will not disappoint!
Vibrantly informational about their menu items; they know what they are talking about through-and-through. They provide a board of their top foods, and they gave us notice to their new items to try. They asked for spice levels for each person, refilled our drinks every time they came out to check on us (very frequently), asked for feedback, and are indescribably respectful. They made sure we weren't just rushing to head out of the door when it was closing time, and accommodated our hasty, ludicrous requests.
As we were getting ready to leave, I had some time to look around. It has a dim, cozy, great-for-dinner-dates atmosphere, but we didn't feel out of place when we were wearing our casual clothes. They have warm lighting and dark wood (Google photos do not do it justice; very aesthetically pleasing in-person). The work environment seems very cooperative and intuitive to who served last (we had four people serve us).
Overall, the food looks/tastes good for amazing prices, and they either loved or hated us with how often and attentive...
