Mike's Fresh Market — Attraction in Detroit

I just left Mike's Market about fifteen minutes ago and was told to leave because their bagger had an attitude about coming over to get my bag per Mike’s request to have bags left at the front counter asked a cashier do we still have to leave bag in front and she told the bagger that’s your job to get the bags and he came over with an attitude began to ask to go home because he didn’t feel like dealing with this today. Then he threw the number at me and tossed my bag under the counter after he did that I asked his name and to speak to a manager. Manager comes and the employee is still yelling a waving his arms then she tells me to leave and that I’m not allowed back in the store I been doing business with since 2008. I was informed when I called to complain about how I was treated and informed to take my business elsewhere because the bagger has never behaved that way before. Don’t patronize this market don’t care about customers. I thought the saying was the customer is always right… Not here… They are in our community and we still...

Today I visited Mike’s market for the second time since moving to the neighborhood. I was really satisfied the first visit but the second visit is grounds for me never returning to the store. I was shopping for shrimp and found the cases where ALL of the shrimp were freezer burned. I notified the guy who handles the meet who agreed. Wheeler he agreed he tries to justify that the shipment was new. I said this is bad so if you’re going to sell it (I was still willing to purchase because I didn’t want to go to anther store because again I like the store)at least discount it. He told me “If you don’t like it go buy it fro somewhere else”. I moved on a bumper into the store manager and offered the same. He too agreed it was bad but again ignored it and said he would still sell it and became upset and even telling security on me. I am spreading the word to not shop here. They don’t care about the quality of the products they sell to us in our neighborhoods! Take your money where they care because Mike’s Fresh Market isn’t...

I wanted to buy something but their lines were long!!!! Their bottle machines were down and I talked to one man who was only taking plastic off of cases of products, he asked another man that was bagging groceries, who blamed it on security not turning the machines back on after a power outage. I went to customer service and there was only one lady in front of me and they had a whole conversation like I wasn't even there. Then when I ask the lady with the short gray hair, the lady got mad at me for asking her about the bottle machines and then she came from behind the counter like she wanted to do something. She was hollering and I told her that I didn't care what she was talking about because she didn't own nothing in that store but her body. I never have this problem at SAVON FOODS!!!! You will never get a second chance to make a first impression on me because this was the first and last time that I will ever go in...
