This place offers a nice paved downhill trail that takes you to a park at the bottom, the park has a playground, drinking water and restrooms making it a kid friendly walk. If you want something more challenging and want to work out the legs, there is a set of stairs that lead to a trail on the bottom running along a creek. The trees provide a lot of shade, you can follow the creek and it takes you to that same park, you will need to hop over the creek in some areas and step on slippery rocks, A walking stick helps A LOT. Read moreI came last weekend to Sycamore trail and yes it has many stairs and some people may not appreciate it, however, once on trail it was so beautiful; The trees; birds singing; the sound of water; and smell of nature. I watched a family fishing with their children at the creek. It was so peaceful. The little creek continues to playground area with picnic tables on other side.
