Grid Coffee is a great experience overall. Ample parking, superb service and attention to detail, a minimalist approach when it comes to the decor, a simple, yet enticing menu, and great coffee.
Might I add, this is one of the few places that I have ever been to where I didn't need headphones! The music they play here is exquisite, lots of jazz, chill-hop, and other tunes you might like to hear while studying or working.
Note that they are thoughtful, and even have pads you can sit on if the wood is a bit tough on your rear.
The coffee is great, I'd recommend the Einspanner Latte, coffee with sweet cream inside, goes well with cinnamon. Their Kyoto Cold Brews are wonderful as well, and if you like it with a splash of milk, consider the Kyoto Cold Brew Lattes.
They also have sweets from time to time, croffles (which appear to be croissants smashed with a waffle maker), dusted with sugar, cinnamon, and matcha, and things like avocado toast.

Read moreIf you’re near Diamond Bar and you love both passion fruit and espresso tonics, you have to try Grid Coffee’s iced Passion Tonic Coffee ($6). Under the espresso section of their Drink it menu, I felt like it also could have been named a Passion Espresso Tonic, rather than a Passion Tonic Coffee, but maybe that’s just me. It’s made by combining a passion fruit purée base, lemon juice, fun, and a sparkling americano over ice. For the espresso, it’s a double origin, half Brazilian & half Guatemalan, from Stereoscope Coffee roasters.
Grid is in a shopping center where they have ample parking in the free lot out front. Even though it looks very narrow from the outside, it’s very open inside with some seating options, and minimalistic art on the walls. While we didn’t get any pasties this visit, the waffles seem very popular with the other patrons. They have a restroom, and the staff was very nice and they handled the seemingly constant...
Read moreVisited Grid Coffee for the first time yesterday morning and loved my experience at this coffee shop.
The exterior of the coffee shop looks very small, but as soon as you walk-in, it's a completely different world. It is very modern; with plenty of room to sit, and hang out with friends. The menu is not very extensive, which is something we definitely love. We ordered the matcha latte, matcha caffe latte and dalgona caffe latte.
The dalgona caffe latte look very pretty. The drink is topped with crumbled biscuits that you mix into the drink and gives it a nice flavor.
My sister and I loved our matcha drinks; we are not afraid to say that this is the BEST MATCHA DRINK we've ever had. We've had matcha drinks from so many places and this is the best. If you are a fan of matcha (like we are) or if you have always wanted to try matcha but are scared to try it... you have to try it at Grid Coffee because it will...
