Nekter Juice Bar — Restaurant in Diamond Bar

The smoothies are great, but I do find them a bit overpriced. The service is generally good, and the staff is friendly. However, my experience on 1/7/25 was disappointing. The store closed earlier than the listed time of 6:00 PM. I drove a long distance to make it by 6:00 PM, arriving at 5:50 PM, only to be told by the employee that they had already closed. She was still serving someone, though—I’m not sure if it was a customer or a friend—but the store was technically still open for them.

The employee mentioned that they close before 6:00 PM, but didn’t specify an exact time, and apologized, saying she would talk to the manager about updating the listed hours. I then went to another store, but when I returned at 6:03 PM, I saw the employee serving the same person and starting to clean up the outside area.

I find it unprofessional to not adhere to the posted closing time while still serving customers. This experience has left a bad impression, and I will definitely reconsider how often I visit if at all. If you plan on coming here, I recommend arriving much earlier than 6:00 PM—perhaps closer to 5:00 PM—to avoid any uncertainty. Hopefully, you’ll have a better...

I’m a fan of Nekter, they make great smoothies, juices, and bowls. They are better than Jamba Juice in most every way with two exceptions, and that’s in price and rewards program. Jamba has a way better program even though they’re less expensive. For instance I get a free small smoothie on my bday with jamba but only a free turmeric shot from Nekter.

Despite this difference, I’m still glad we have this Nekter store in diamond bar. The staff here is good but not always the most personable. Terrible experience and terrible food! I ordered a açai mango bowl it is completely watered down. There is absolutely no taste when I told Freddy the employee. He said he could not do anything about it, but I could only leave a review. I’ve been too many places usually, they will hand over the bowel or set it on the table. This employee slided bowel across the table having me catch the bowel and just walked away, absolutely rude. When I was right in front of him, it was unnecessary to slide it across like that.
