Total rip off. Like the other person mentioned, went yesterday. The 3 tickets for $69 is false. They added $20 in fees so its 3 for $89. They dont have the ""false advertised deal" at the gates and even the regular ticket they sell there carry the "extra rip off ticket fee," I even spoke to Roger, who apparently is someone in charge who stated they can charge whatever fees they want. I was already there with my kids and went in but screw me once its on you, not twice. Since you mentioned The Fair in the other reply, the Fair only charges convenience fees online and not at the gate. They dont rip off people like you guys do. Their deals are available online and at the gates without the added rip off fees, they have lower prices and offer a ton more of rides, exhibits and attractions. You guys are a parking lot carnival ride venue to be charging $40 or $50.
Hounted houses were ok but do not open until 7pm. I dont think thats mentioned on their site plus 3 rides out of the 11 or 12 they have were closed. None of this was mentioned on their site either.
I feel sorry for the vendors. Nobody buying anything inside. I get tenders and fries from the Fair all the time. Its around $11 there... here it was $20. So no... the prices are not in line with anything else other than designed to rip off people. The fair offer weekdays food deals, you guys offer weekdays rip off prices.
Dont recommend this place at all. In today's economy, you can't go out there trying to rip off people for everything. You are not going to get much support in return. People dont have a lot of cash left to get ripped off like that. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SCAM. There are other options out there that I wish I knew before.
The boat was closed, full tilt was close and one more that I cant remember now.
And like mentioned by the other parent, my SEALED bottle of water was thrown out as well. This is something that NOBODY else out there does. Sports stadiums, the Fair, major theme parks all allowed you to bring water in. If you dont allow water, then you need to provide water foutains. It is hot and people need to stay hydrated. Everywhere else patrons are allowed one sealed bottle of water per person. You guys are opening up to a big law suit. You dont have a single water foutain inside so you guys force people to even buy water inside, plus your security person was so focus on my bottle of water that did not even hand wand us; so much for security right... awful experience honestly.
Looks like many of the 5 star reviews come from family, friends or employees. They all say the same...
Read moreI almost gave this place a 4 star review, but after giving it some more thought I think it only deserves 3. Starting with buying tickets, we saw they had a 2 for $50 deal on Tuesday, so we decided to make the drive. When we got there and bought tickets online, we were hit with a random $6 fee per ticket, which didn’t show until checkout. Once in the park we spent the first hour doing rides which were ok, but definitely nothing special. Most of the ride operators didn’t seem like pleasant people, many seeming like they didn’t want to be there. They had an abundance of food options which most looked to be family owned which was very cool, but as you can expect from a carnival the prices were very high. Carnival games were very meh, and the outdoor decorations were barely present. Their midway actors were very good.
When it comes to the houses, they were fun but definitely not too scary. Some rooms were cool, but other rooms were very basic and lacking what it truly takes to be immersive. A lot of the props used were not professional props, a lot looking to be from Home Depot/party city. The actors were alright, I could tell they were doing their best but the rooms weren’t designed in a way to give them much room to work with or to hide in.
We went on a Tuesday and the crowds were light, especially earlier on in the night. We got there at 6 and left before 8:30, doing each house 3 times, and riding multiple rides. Around 7 we wanted to leave to grab jackets as it was getting a little chilly, but they have a very strict no re-entry policy and told us we would need to buy new tickets if we wanted to go to the car.
Overall it was a fun time, but I wouldn’t recommend driving much more than 20-30 mins out of your way to come here, especially not on a busy night. I feel if they had a better design team, and maybe some more actor training, the houses would be much better. The houses, actors, and event as a whole has a lot of potential, but as of now it...
Read moreA Thrilling and Unforgettable Experience!
The House of Horror Haunted Carnival was an absolute blast for me and my teenage daughter and her friends! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric. The carnival theme is done perfectly with creepy decorations, chilling sound effects, and 3 brand new haunted houses that kept us on edge the entire time.
The haunted houses were terrifyingly creative, with detailed sets and actors who were fully committed to scaring you out of your wits! Each section offered something different, from jump scares to eerie, slow-building tension. The kids hearts were racing the whole time, fun to watch.
Besides the haunted houses, the carnival games and rides added a fun twist to the night. The classic rides gave a nostalgic vibe, while the themed games brought a lighthearted balance to all the terror. Food stands and trucks were also great, offering a nice break between scares.
I was impressed with how well-organized everything was, even with the large crowds. The staff were friendly and professional, ensuring a safe but thrilling experience for everyone.
If you're looking for an adrenaline-pumping and thoroughly entertaining night out, the House of Horror Haunted Carnival is a must-visit. It's the perfect mix of fun and fear – I'll go back again this year with my younger son and...
