I took one beautiful expensive yellow gold earring from Israel for repair and I was assured by the counter lady that they will repair it with the same gold color as the earring. It had a small tiny hoop piece broken that needed to be "glued" back. When I got it back, the area where the repair was done was WHITE, like a stain on the earring! I told the lady, this is not good, how can I have this stained (noticeable) on one earring! They offered to "fix" the problem by trying to gold-plate it in YELLOW again and when I went to pick it up, it looked completely different yellow hue than my other earring! They look like two different earrings! Now I cannot wear them because they look so different in color. They would not do anything about it, the "repaired" earring has the corners some kind of black hue! YES BLACK! and it looks horrible. I decided not to have the other earring look the same because it looks with a little black in it which does not make any sense! Sorry for the wordy paragraph.    Read moreThis place is horrible. I did a custom ring at this kay jewlers and was promised to have my ring in 8-12 weeks. I did not receive the ring till the 15th week that i was at the store almost every day (All they say is i am sorry).
After that situation the ring needed to get resized and they said it takes 2 weeks to resize a ring and they will call me when its ready. That call never came. The 2 weeks past by and no ring. They ring came in the 3rd week. I was not able to pick up the ring since i was working so my wife went to go pick up her ring and they didn't let her pick up the ring. They say that i am the one that has to pick it up even though i called them directly to authorize and verify the account to give it to my wife. They did not allow her to pick up her own ring.
