WORST SPA EVER! I initially found out about this spa on Groupon. I was a little skeptical about buying a Groupon for this place but then I saw the reviews and I did feel more comfortable, so I bought two Groupons one for myself the second for my mom. I was able to schedule the appointments. The day finally comes, our appointment was set for 9:00 AM because that was the only time they had available for that day, we did read the fine print and we got there an hour earlier (we drove all the way from Miami Beach). This spa is located inside International Mall and the mall did not open until 9:00 AM. I called the Spa multiple times as I waited outside and no one answered the phone. We finally come in and obviously, they cannot go through with our treatment because we were 10 minutes late. I understood that because it was stated on the fine print but what I didn't understand why they would schedule our appointment for 9:00 AM and the mall was closed. So then comes along this rude man that claimed to be the "manager" he proceeded to talk down to us and call me a liar because he said that his staff had called me the day before to let me know there was a side entrance. The thing is I never received a call from the spa the day before If I would have received a call I would have known to use a side entrance. I had proof that no one had called me because I did not have a missed call. The staff helped us reschedule our appointment but the manager had already made us feel terrible we really weren't sure we wanted to proceed without treatment, but we did. Read moreI went into this establishment to check them out since my usual therapist was booked for the weekend, I found them on Groupon. Upon calling to book my appointment I already started to dread buying this voucher on Groupon I was coming in with a paid service And they still demanded for my credit card to be on file, which seemed completely confusing since my service was paid already. After arriving at the location which was located inside the mall. I was greeted by two very unfriendly inattentive young lady’s who after about 15 min escorted me to the back mind you I arrived 15 prior to the appointment and still had to wait a gentleman took some eye goggles they give you and escorted me to another room where he explained how he would have to do the procedure a little different since I’m in my second trimester of pregnancy, which I understood he exited the room so I could get undressed when he finally came back he said I had to get dressed because the manager was denying service and couldn’t attend me, I told the manager that was ridiculous that the employee just stated he could but now she was stating something else she began raising her voice telling me to exit the store which I did about 20 min later I receive a call from Miami-Dade police stating the manager was accusing me of stealing goggles mind you I’m super pregnant and the whole time I was there asking for proof that they weren’t storing my credit card in there files since I never received services with them.The manager asked me to exit the building so how can some huge relaxing googles fit in my mini $3000 YSL bag It was a horrible experience and I don’t recommend these people to anyone...
Read moreCrazy how businesses change and become complete garbage. I had a membership with the mark spa and just recently cancelled. What a nightmare!! First of let me tell you that they’re a disaster. They can’t even keep their employees! They quit all the time so there’s no stability. The prices went up and they changed their membership to no contract, voiding any contract I had before with them. That’s a whole lie. I tried to cancel my membership multiple times on the phone and In person and they didn’t do it, instead they charged another month. When I disputed it with them, they begged me to please come to get the service instead of honoring my refund multiple times! To add insult to injury, they confirmed their front desk guy was not aware of the proper termination policy, gave me false information advising the membership would be cancelled within 48 hours, they confirmed receiving my communication about cancelling and STILL refused to give me back my money. I even reminded them how they’ve pocketed multiple months of membership from me FOR FREE because I would forget to go and they still didn’t care. They said they understood there was miscommunication but a refund could not be processed. How do you run a business that way? Needless to say I will NEVER step foot in the mark spa again. You guys are thief’s. And if it’s in my power, I’ll make sure everyone knows how terrible your company is. Your customer service is beyond terrible. And your ETHIC does not exist.
