If you live in Atlanta, you'd be very happy with discovering the great places to eat and hang out in Asian Square. If you're visiting, you should make a point to go to "Sweet Hut Bakery" (about 1000 times better than Starbucks and most bakeries), La Mei Zi (rated #1 Chinese food in Atlanta though I would just say it's very good), Quồc Hương Bánh Mì (NY Times rated top 5 in country for Bahn Mi and their Pho is very good too), AND there is a true NY Chinatown style take out that has hanging duck and Honey BBQ pork (both of which are excellent). On top of this, there's a new "roll up ice cream" (a fad for families I haven't tried yet), and two additional restaurants I'm looking forward to trying (one is a all things kabobs, and the other is a Chinese BBQ place). I have it three stars because the parking is always a mess and there is always some type of construction or part of the parking lot is closed down or flooded.
