The delivery charge of $187 was a charge that wasn’t revealed until after my credit check was done. It wasn’t clear what the total of $187 was for. I remember the sales lady saying that would cover the delivery and set up, but most furniture companies deliver and set up the furniture before leaving. I didn’t think that was a selling point that they would drop furniture off and not set it up? They didn’t move any furniture before putting the new furniture in, they don’t haul away the old furniture , so the delivery fee of $187 was still mysterious as to why I was charged so much. I was just told that the delivery would be Tuesday and they charge by the mile. I was told I would get my furniture delivered the day after Christmas . The delivery guys arrived to my home at 7:10-7:15 pm.the night after Christmas .I’ve never had a furniture delivery late after business hours. I never received a window for my delivery , but I certainly wasn’t prepared to receive my furniture after 7:00 at night! There was no service after the sale. No follow up calls or text came to my phone all day during normal business hours , until they were about 15 -20 minutes away. I waited all day for my furniture to be delivered , but it was clear that was never my delivery guys intentions. They didn’t seem to care or know if I was at home . I say this because, they called around 6:49 pm and I missed their call , so they didn’t know if I was home or not . The only thing after that was a text stating they were heading my way? To be honest , after 5:00 and I didn’t have my furniture, I thought I would receive a call to reschedule for the following day . I know this furniture company can’t possibly treat all of their new customers this way , so I question why my service was poor after my purchase with them. Unfortunately , I won’t be able to refer any of my friends to this furniture company , because I don’t any of my friends to be treated this way. When a customer makes a major purchase like I did, there needs to be some type of follow up or service after the sale at least as a courtesy. Little regard was shown for me as a new customer or as a future customer .
