Tropical Joes Smoothies — Restaurant in Douglasville

The smoothies are good however there is a employee...whom I come to learn is the OWNERS DAUGHTER, has a very negative, arrogant attitude!! Have seen a child behind the counter many times, which is not PROFESSIONAL OR BUSINESS ETIQUETTE...While the child is playing she has to attend or stop de child, while trying to serve customers at the same time (not able to keep sanitary handling food at same time)...had been coming to this particular location for over 5 months and didn't learn till i went to the location in Hiram that de company had a reward program where u get stamped each purchase (MAKE SURE U ASK OR GET UR CARD STAMPED)....Once it was brought to my attention that the company always had them, on my next visit to the store i inquired with the same employee female and she replied, " YOU NEVER ASKED/INQUIRED"!!! How many customers walk into businesses knowing or asking does this particular business have reward system? Especially when the employees realize this is a repeat customer, why does the COMPANY OR EMPLOYEES make it known they offer reward program opposed to never mentioning anything based off THE CUSTOMER NEVER ASKED......this one female will, if not already, affect dis business wit de arrogant, negative and unpleasant attitude and...

The staff at this place is plain rude; today I went to get my 12 yrs old an smoothie and when we were about to walk into the store, one of the employees took time to pause helping a family of four to tell us that they have a maximun of 4 people at a time inside the store; we waited outside and went in when the family of four left. After us, 3 more customers came in which made a total of 5 of us including my son and then I see two more individuals walk in, which accounted for 7 of us total. I was waiting to see if any one of the two staff members would tell the last two people who came in to wait outside but they did not.

When I was ready to pay, I asked the same staff member who asked us to stay outside previously if the 4 people max only applies to certain individuals because she did say anything to the last 3 who came in after 4 of us where already in there and her remark was that she does not address clients coming in while talking to another client (REALLY???) I then replied "NO, YOU WEREN'T TALKING TO ANYONE WHEN THEY WALKED IN, YOU SHOULD TREAT ALL YOUR CLIENTS THE SAME) If I could give them a big...

So I initially thought this was a Tropical Smoothie location. When I noticed the sign read "Tropical Joes Smoothies" I became discouraged. For some reason, I still gave it a try. I entered the location and no one greeted me. Nice right? This would have been acceptable if they were busy. I looked at the menu and immediately loved the ingredients in the Crazy Coconut. I substituted the low fat milk for almond milk, which did not seem like it should have a big impact on the drink. As a result, I was very disappointed with the drink. I assumed it would be thick, like Planet smoothie or Smoothie King usually makes it. To my surpise it was like I was drinking almond milk with coconut flakes. I quickly forgot that pineapple and banana were also included as ingredients. This sucked because I chose this place for lunch !! The smoothie was horrible and the service was partly horrible. The Tropical Joes team is lucky to have such a plesant cashier. I believe thats why I gave this place 2 stars. I would not recommend the location to anyone and I definitely will not...
