The Vitamin Shoppe — Local services in Douglasville

I can’t give this particular store good reviews because every time I go there I am followed around the store and watched. I have had this problem at other stores and at other Vitamin Shoppe’s but this Vitamin Shoppe has to be the worse. I actually went there today and was asked if I needed help just like every other time that I have gone there. I responded no that I didn’t need help. There was another lady in the store also shopping when I arrived but The Vitamin Shoppe employee kept following me around and I did feel quite uncomfortable to shop in peace. While I was being watched the other customer had all the time in the world to steal. I am a gold member and have spent thousands of dollars at this store you have to spend a lot to reach gold status. Since I have moved to Douglasville and had a few bad encounters at this store I have decided to shop less at The Vitamin Shoppe online and in store. I just cannot and will not put my money towards employee’s paychecks that treat me as a criminal every time I go to shop there. Yes I am black, yes I have torn jeans on, a hoodie, and tennis shoes but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have any money and it sure as hell doesn’t make me a criminal. The posted hours on this location indicate they're open until 8:30 PM. However, I arrived at the door at 8:28 to get a protein drink and the door was locked. The male employee was standing at the register and looked at me then put his head back down, but did not open the door or attempt to communicate with me. There was also a female in the store standing at the counter. She appeared to be visiting the employee, but she may have been an employee also. Horrible Experience. Placed an order over a month ago and called customer service several times saying my item was in stock and would be shipped out the next day. On 4 separate occasions I was told the same thing without my package being shipped. On the 4th call, I was then told my order was placed on hold and they didn't know why and then my item was all of a sudden out of stock.
