I hope things improve I know its a new business but I can't deny my dissapointment . Ill start from the beginning. I walked in with pre bought tickets and there was no clear place or person around to scan them someone had to come around from some desk all the way in the corner to scan them when they saw we looked lost amongst all the employees standing around clueless. Then when we tried going to our movie showing at 10:55 for the black phone (which we thought we were late for) they told us it was still being cleaned and it was already a bit past 11pm I wasn't too bothered by this but it is note worthy to show how uncoordinated the team is. I don't blame them they are obviously new but it needs to be addressed effectively and quickly if this business means to hold its own in the industry. After finally sitting down I began to order my food during trailers , this was probably where my experience was at its worst. I ordered nachos, a nashville chicken sandwich, a margarita and soft drink. My nachos and drinks arrived quickly but the nachos were stale and the cheese was so thick and lukewarm that the nachos could break just trying to scoop it. I waited for more than 30 mins into the movie for my chicken sandiwich, first they delivered me someone else's chicken sandwich i knew it wasn't mine since they got loaded fries and i only asked for plain crinkle fries I sent it back since the ticket clearly had a different seat number on it , and as I waited they gave my order to someone else and never found it again so I had to remind them that i never received my chicken sandwich. Then i waited probably another 20min to receieve it and when it came they almost handed it to the people a few seats down from me had they not said it wasn't theirs I would've been waiting for my chicken sandwich for another 15-20 mins. And when it finally arrived to me the fries and sandwich were stone cold and the chicken sandwich was horrible it tasted like dropping a chicken tender into hot sauce , the hot sauce was all i could taste not even the bun or coleslaw. It was atrocious. I paid over 40$ for the food and drinks and it felt like money thrown straight to the garbage. The chicken sandwich was a whole 18$ and it was the worst ive ever had. Lastly the theatre itself was lackluster with the screen not being very bright and looking washed out for every dark scene and the saturation looked dull. The projector could not reproduce blacks in the slightest so nearly the whole movie looked washed out. This experience was so bad I don't think ill be back for at least a year. hopefully this business holds out long enough for me to someday experience an...

Two years ago, I gave this theater a 5* review. Times have changed a bit. The seating is still old though serviceable. Yes, sometimes there’s a mess left from prior viewer that wasn’t cleaned up after last movie. The food is iffy. Sometimes ok, other times not so much. And it’s expensive for its quality.

I’m an infinity club member and this location is closest Look Dine-in Cinema and I want to love it. At best, it’s a love/hate situation

Today my food order was screwed up. Too many problems to detail here but the short version is the entree I ordered never arrived. And I paid $36.17 for individual popcorn, large drink, and NO pepperoni pizza.

Menu says combo meal like this I ordered, using those specific words, is $19.99. I was charged $44 (got the infinity club discount which reduced it but still $$)

I spoke with manager afterwards. She committed to providing at least a partial refund. Will have to see how that transpires.

That was last Saturday. Today is Wednesday and so far I’ve received no refund.

The manager offered a bit of an apology saying they were swamped due to lilo and stitch movie which was in at least 4 of the theaters. But that shouldn’t become my problem. Either staff for two popular movies or schedule to accommodate the available staff.

Keep in mind all this is happening while movie (mission impossible-final reckoning) is showing. You’re in a darkened theater, sound is loud and both you and those around you are trying to watch the movie. And I arrived early in hopes to avoid all of this!

In total, such a pain and hassle. Too frustrating to order and pay for expensive food and rely on it arriving when it doesn’t

Will I return? Sure Will I order food? Highly unlikely

Update: after messaging Look through their website about this, a refund of 19.50 was almost immediately issued. That leaves the cost of a soda and popcorn at $16.67. About right per their posted menu prices =soda $6...

2025 Went on a Tuesday night, the food took 50 minutes to come out. Had to get up and look for help on where the order was because nobody came when we pressed the red buttons on the seats. P.S. the Nashville chicken sandwich is actually just two pieces of chicken tenders with buffalo sauce.... Theater 3 had beat up, worn out, cracked leather seats. Bathrooms have no napkins and are dirty both upstairs and downstairs.

2021 I would recommend giving this theater some time before giving it a try, the service is rather unorganized; it's a work in progress. I went on a Thursday night and wanted the full dine in experience, so we ordered food and drinks once we were seated. There are no paper menus, there are only QR codes on the movie seat tables. You order your food to the online menu and then you pay and tip before they bring you your food. It's hard to give this place five stars because I had to get up two times during the movie to go and check on my order. The first time, we noticed that the people next to us who had ordered after us were having issues with the food as well. The server kept bringing them the wrong order; when we started paying attention to their issue, I realized it was my pizza being taken back to the kitchen. I went to check on the food and it came shortly after, lukewarm. 5 minutes later, our same order had been mistakingly remade. We told the server we already had it, so she took it back.

A few minutes later I went to check on the drinks because it had been 35 minutes since we had ordered them and we still had no drinks and were halfway through a meal. It seemed like they were having issues on expo and I found a friendly server who followed me back to the seats with my drinks. Overall this is a nice place, the seats are reclinable and the servers are very friendly. Hopefully organization is better...

I had a chance to watch a movie at LOOK dine-in cinema in Downey, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While I was excited about the concept of combining a movie with dining, the reality fell short of expectations. First, I found the food service during the movie to be quite distracting. While I appreciate the convenience of having meals brought directly to my seat, the frequent interruptions by staff serving food really took away from the movie-watching experience. It's hard to stay immersed in the film when there's a constant flow of servers moving around and delivering orders. Second, the quality of the food was underwhelming. The dishes we ordered were bland and overpriced. For a cinema that promotes itself on the dining experience, I expected much better quality and flavor. Finally, the cleanliness of the theater was disappointing. There were leftovers from previous patrons on the seats, which made the environment feel unsanitary and unpleasant. It's hard to enjoy a movie when you're worried about what you're sitting on. Overall, while the idea of a dine-in cinema is appealing, the experience at this location was marred by distractions and cleanliness issues. I hope they can address these problems to provide a better movie-going experience in the future.

It seems the only difference between studio movie grill and “Look” Is the quality in service. The only positive thing I can see from this theater is what is left from the previous owners; modern interior, Bar and reclining seats. -We had to wait for someone to scan our tickets since no one was around we could’ve easily walked in. Even the people in the kitchen area seemed confused. -We were sent to the wrong room and were left to figure out the right room. -We had to ask to turn off the lights when we got to the correct room ; even though the movie was a good 30-45 minutes in. -We had to help an elderly couple figure out their room situation during the movie because they also had been sent to the wrong room. After all these things there really wasn’t time to enjoy the movie or theater snacks. At least the Glendale location the employees seem to have a different understanding as to how to greet guest. We were even asked how our experience was unlike this Downey location were there was employees just standing by in the kitchen area as if they were on a break or sitting on counters just watching as we entered the wrong Room.
