museum
Madame Tussauds Orlando is a popular wax museum that offers an immersive experience with lifelike wax figures of celebrities, historical figures, and pop culture icons. The museum is part of the larger ICON Park, which includes other attractions, making it a convenient stop for tourists.
The wax figures are incredibly detailed and lifelike, providing a unique opportunity to "meet" your favorite celebrities.
Unlike traditional museums, visitors are encouraged to take selfies, interact with the figures, and even pose in costumes provided by the museum. This makes for a fun and engaging experience, especially for families and groups.
The museum features a diverse range of figures, from Hollywood stars to sports legends, and even historical figures. This variety appeals to a broad audience.
The museum is generally clean, well-organized, and the exhibits are well-maintained. The layout is designed to guide visitors smoothly through the different sections.
The admission price a bit high, especially if you're not planning to visit the other attractions at ICON Park.
Compared to other Madame Tussauds locations around the world, the Orlando branch is relatively small. Some visitors might find the collection a bit limited.
If you've visited other Madame Tussauds locations, you might find some overlap in the figures, which could make the experience...

I was born ten minutes walk from Madame Tussauds in London and visited many times in my youth. Back then of course, it was a 'museum' and not a 'visitor attraction'.
Even back in the 1960's and 70's, it had lots of themed areas, like the Chamber of Horrors, where famous murderers were on display. You could also have your picture taken with The Queen.
Over the years as it has evolved into a 'visitor attraction' it has improved greatly and even has rides. Small wonder it has been for many years, the most popular 'visitor attraction' in London by a long way,
But what do we get for our $30 at MT Orlando? A few miserable figures - many of whom would only be known to Americans - arranged in a snaking pathway that was done and dusted in less than 30 minutes.
Trump and Harris were at the entrance, but then, only Lincoln. What about all the others? Could we not have walked through a cavalcade of every US President? What about some of the truly great figures of American Music? Where was Al Jolson, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Buddy Rich or Scott Joplin?
And where were Harry and Megan and King Charles III? So much could have been in it, so little was. We are coming back in two years, and this is one place we will...
Read moreOn our last visit to Orlando Florida we manage to get the ICON Madame Tussauds free with our other tickets. It is a great experience for the whole family.
Around the ICON centre there are a large variety of shops, restaurants and activities. Inside the ICON centre there is a food court with many different options to choose from. There is also the 3 main attractions, The Wheel, Sea Life and Madame Tussauds. Each of these can be paid for individually inside the ICON building, but I feel they are a little expensive to buy this way.
Once you hand over your tickets for Madame Tussauds you can enter and begin walking around. There are multiple rooms to walk through and are split into different categories such as movies, actors, singer etc. Each model has an amazing amount of detail and look so realistic.
You are able to take photographs whilst walking around and sometime there is a queue to takes photos who certain models but we never the case in October it depends when you visit. Some of there photo opportunities also some with props that you area able to put on and become part of the scene.
My family had a lovely evening out at Madame Tussauds and I would love to visit again on our next holiday to see if they have...
