Live music and good food, what else can you ask for? I visited last night with friends and family, a total of eight of us. We arrived as a band, Skyclub, were setting up inside. We looked around and only saw high top tables, which would not work due to a member in my party having mobility issues. Tucked away against a wall near the stage were several normal height tables. We moved them away from the wall but were told by an employee that where we had positioned them was on the dance floor. The employee moved tables around to accommodate the normal height tables.
The food menu was more expansive than I thought it would have been. The food here is not typical bar food. I was excited to see Nashville hot chicken on the menu, knowing that Tin Roof's original location was based in Nashville. I ordered three Nashville hot chicken tenders and tots. I was disappointed when the food arrived. The size of the meal was perfect, but the chicken was not cooked like true Nashville hot chicken. Instead, I had a dipping cup of oil and cayenne pepper. For those who have not had real Nashville hot chicken, the cayenne is cooked with the chicken, not served as an oily dipping sauce. Now that said, the size and tenderness of the chicken was spot on.
The venue as a whole was a decent size, which accommodated a lot of people without feeling crowded. The sound system was incredible. The price for food and drink was reasonable considering this being a tourist area.
Tin Roof's website says,"Our stages have hosted the famous, the should have been famous, and everyone in between." Last night's band named Skyclub, a band from Melbourne, Florida, will hopefully be famous. They have a huge sound and are extremely talented.
This was my first time at Tin Roof, which I really enjoyed. The only disappointment was the Nashville hot chicken. Maybe they do not cook it traditionally so that the fryers can be used for tots and fries, but at least put on the menu that the chicken is served with hot...

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! I drove from Myrtle Beach to Orlando specificly, Saturday September 19, 2025, to go to the Tin Roof for an event, which I attended the week prior at the Myrtle Beach Tin Roof. The door security and Manager denied me access because I had my PTSD service dog. Stating she could not come in because it was a restaurant. After I stated they can not deny me access because " it's a restaurant" per ADA law. He then stated I could sit on the outside patio area with her. I explained I was there to see and meet a group of friends that were not "outside in the patio area". This was the first time I've EVER been denied access to ANYWHERE, let alone a restaurant. This was not only against ADA federal civil rights law but beyond embarrassing and humiliating to someone who's already traumatized with PTSD. I drove 9 hours to go specifically and only to the Tin Roof Orlando.
Update: The following day I called the Tin Roof and spoke to one of the Managers and was informed that the person who presented himself to be the "Manager" to not only myself but the Orlando PD officers who spoke with him was NOT a manager, but the lead security person. He also lied to the officer about what transpired and what he "said to me about my animal". A Manager was there that night but she was not made aware of what was going on. The following evening this security person was working and to my knowledge is still an employee there!
Tin Roof Orlando Please educate your "security" on ADA federal civil rights law. You cannot segregate or seclude a person and their service dog to a specific area of the restaurant, such as I could only sit outside in the patio area and be served, I should've be treated like any other customer entering your...
The Tin Roof (“rusted”) ;) is a tourist stop, yes...but for me it’s worth the drive into the crowded popular Orlando area. Live music is the best recipe for a great evening on the “town”. And this spot, has exactly that.
The area offers a great deal for those looking for something more to do, especially now that the weather begins to give us Florida folks a pleasant change in temperature. The Tin Roof offers an awesome venue with local live bands playing popular top 40 hits such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty, and much more! The local bands are top notch, you won’t be disappointed!! Great sized dance floor right in front of the stage. Drinks are reasonably priced and the service here is equally as impressive as this place can get pretty hoppin!
They offer indoor seating for those who want to be close to the stage or, those who want a cozy place to sit and enjoy your company comfortably. The walls are open to the outdoors and provide a lovely open airy feeling. I love this aspect the most! The Tin Roof provides the feeling of an outdoor venue without the harmful weather elements that would keep it from being possible.
While your there and if don’t have a fear for heights, the Florida eye (ICON ORLANDO) is beautiful and offers views you just can’t see anywhere else in town. Well worth it! There’s also a swing ride that takes you high in the sky in a tunnel of shining lights! Absolutely stunning!
Go check it out! And as I am always telling you, wear the right shoes, check the Florida weather for what to wear and get off your couch!
Safe travels to all who...
