So frustrated with hyvee in general lately. But I guess it's not just mine. Walked into this one at 7:30 PM to do my Easter shopping before I headed to my Territory home from Des Moines. The produce department was cleared out. No whole mushrooms, green onions, pineapples, & the other items were picked through. The shelfs in the aisles were the same & there wasn't a single sole to help. Then there was ONE CHECK OUT LINE with one person, so I bagged $320.00 of my groceries!! Lastly they had problems with their NEW PROGRAMMED registers. Yeah that was smart to do before Easter. Had to run my card FOUR TIMES! FIGURE...
Read moreFor the first time I can say that I'm very displeased with HyVee. I've come to this store for the restaurant many of times in the past. There I was able to sit and relax, order a diner and enjoy a beverage. No longer is this possible as the corporate offices have decided to remove the full service dining from this store. Now it's like going to a buffet which is not what many of us enjoy. The menu has shrunk as the choices are more like going to a bar. I'm sorry to say.. I won't be coming back. Sorry Hyvee.. the friendly smile in every isle.. is lost to the corporate greed you surely...
