The girl with the red locs has the most horrible customer service I’ve ever experienced. I was literally having an amazing day and the encounter with her was just terrible. First she stared at me while I waited at the register as if she didn’t wanna help or didn’t wanna work/be there. She yelled from behind the counter “just scan it”. I told her I did and it’s not working. Hence, while I was looking around for help lol. I was having trouble with a gift card, when she finally walked over she just stood there. I asked her how do I find the pin/is it the cvv? She said yeah and walked off. What??? lol she didn’t even look at the screen. That was incorrect so I called five below on the phone and got help while she just stood behind the counter having social hour. The other two ladies there were nice. I needed to use cash as well and one of the other girls helped me and another said have a good day as I was walking out. Her saying that literally stopped me from telling the girl w/ the locs about herself. I almost didn’t even want the items anymore and am still considering getting a refund just because of this experience. It was absolutely distasteful and I don’t spend my money with ppl like that. I will take my money and go to another location just because of the principal. This was my first time in five below and the girl with the locs did not leave a good taste in my mouth. Very unprofessional and annoying. She did the same thing to my mom and my sister hit that “no” the associate was not friendly on her turn because she couldn’t make it over there in time. Read moreI LOVE this location!!! Recently I was in the store purchasing holiday gifts and overheard a manager coaching some new hires. Being in customer service myself this made me feel so good!!! The customer service is always A1 but to hear them actually sound like they care how we were doing was refreshing!! It put a huge smile on my face! I was half way to the exit of the mall when I decided to turn around to get their names. I want to give a HUGE shout out to those managers COREY T. & ROBERT M. We definitely need more managers...
