WORSE SERVICE I EVER HAD. Been wanting to go here and thought with all the reviews it would be good. Wow was I wrong! The place was not really that busy, parking lot was already emptying out when we got there at 7:15. Thought it would be busier especially for mothers day but I guess word is getting out about this place. This place is a gimmick to bring in the local Korean community and 20 somethings that like to drink cheap beer. Do not bring your family here.. we sat at a table at 730 which was quick and ordered drinks and an appetizer right away. When our server brought back our drinks we ordered our meal...Which We Never Received. We were about to spend well over a hundred bucks because the Cajun boil we ordered for 3 was going to cost 75 bucks alone. Anyway, people around us were seated after us, had different servers, received their food in the amount of time it took for us to get our Raw Oysters, and were done with their meals while we still waited. Heck our raw oyster empty plate must have sat on our table about 30 minutes before he took it away. So after an hour of waiting, my wife asked where is our order. Our server said it was coming as we were next on the list. We were ok with that for about 15 minutes when he walked by us to another customer and ignored us. My wife stopped him and asked is it coming yet. He said yes but the boiler is backed up so it's taking longer than usual. Well we were on the patio and the parking lot was barely half full so don't know why he made it sound like it was so busy. Anyway after two people around us paid their bill and left, my wife got up to go get a manger. Our server came out and she sat back down and she stopped him to ask again. He said I promise you the food is coming, we are just backed up in the kitchen . She told him that people around us have already ate and left and they arrived after us. I then asked him that I wanted to see a manager. He walked away went to another customer and then walked away. He then came back empty handed and I stopped him. I asked what is the problem? He told us that our order is coming I promise... I said that we are done, we been sitting at that table for an hour and all we had was a raw appetizer, so I would like a manager or we are leaving and will pay for our drinks and for what we have ate. He said fine and went back inside. I followed him inside to see where he went. He went into the kitchen, came back out with an older Korean lady. He saw me standing at the bar and pointed to me and they were speaking to each other in their native language. The older lady walked away as did he. I then told my family to get up we are out of here. I waited at the door leading to the patio until I saw him again. I said do you have my bill so we can pay for what we did eat and drink. He printed it out and showed it to me and said I place your order to the kitchen at 8:01. The time on the receipt that I was about to sign showed 8:54 print out time. He then got a nasty tone with me and said that it takes time to boil the food and it was still cooking. I said to him that we ordered with him 10 minutes after we were seated so what happened to the 20 minutes between the time we ordered with you and the time you submitted it. I also told him we got our sweet teas and one glass of wine before 8 o'clock. I also asked if he was ever going to get us a manager. He flat out told me no, handed me the bill for our drinks and appetizer. He then said please sign it and go away. I said "wow, great customer service, all you had to do was get us a manager the whole time and stop making excuses". The experience here was disturbing as I am very familiar with Korean people. Personally, my family is friends with a Korean Tae Kwon Do Master and my children earned 2d Degree Black Belts at his academy. With that we frequent Korean BBQ restaurants in Suwanee and Duluth and have always had good treatment from the Korean people we have encountered. I have heard this is a family owned restaurant. Sorry guys, I am not...
Read moreWARNING STAY AWAY!!!!!!. This place deserves 0 stars. I'm outrageous with the treatment my family and I received from this DISGUSTING place. We had the worst experience I have ever heard of. First my siblings order fried oysters which came out hard. And when they asked to send it back they were told that they need to ask for it soft fried when ordered. Who in the HELL need to ask for soft fried oysters when they should already be soft and edible when they first come out. Then myself, my mother and my father each ordered the boil, my father was sooooo disappointed with the appearance of his food that he sent his entire order back and decided not to eat anything. My mother and I both received freezer burnt crab legs that was blue, purple, and brown not to mention cold. On top of all of that, my daughter went the restroom and came back and her food was gone. The waitress picked it up and threw it away without even asking if she was done. Then we get the bill with an automatic 20% gratuity attached which they neglect to disclose before seating us, so they just decide to sneak gratuity on your bill and hope you don't catch it. Now, I do not mind paying gratuity but after receiving the awful service that we received I asked that they remove the gratuity and I will pay my bill and leave gratuity in cash. So the owner comes to the table very irate nearly yelling at the top of her lungs about their unknown rule until you receive your bill of this automatic gratuity that they do not deserve. She then proceeds to state that she is going to contact the police, so we stated good call them and we proceeded to wait. My mother decided that things were escalating and decided it was best to take the children to the car while the rest of us wait at the table for the police. The owner tried to block my mother from exiting the building, nevertheless my mother pushed her way out after explaining to the owner "Ma'am we are not trying to get out of paying our bill we just want you to take the 20% gratuity off our bill because we do not believe the service we received is worth 20% gratuity." She then got a group of about 10 ghetto, hood rat, classless people, who needed to mind their own business (not employees), that were all eating on the outside patio to follow my mother, who by the way have my 3 children with her and my siblings, all the way to the vehicle harassing and threatening them. They had their phones out trying to video them and get a picture of the license plate, acting as though they were going start a fight. Police arrived and went inside asked them to take the gratuity off and stated that "If they had received terrible treatment like we did then they wouldn't pay the gratuity either." We paid our bill and left. All this has happened because the OWNER is very nasty and does not know how to treat customers. Needless to say we will never ever go back to this disgusting place again!!! WARNING!!!!...
Read moreI find it hard to leave a bad review for a restaurant but this one tipped the scale. I took a load of pictures and you can see them below.
We went here knowing we wanted crawfish, here in Atlanta. There are not many places where crawfish are served, but we decided to try a place close to our home. Red Crawfish. They serve more than crawfish but crawfish they do not do well. Read about it. They sell crawfish that they cooked while they were dead. That is not allowed or expected from real crawfish eaters.
The manager "LuLu" even started to argue with us about the crawfish and said they were farm raised. Okay, farm raised, is fine but you can't cook dead crawfish and serve them to the public. He insisted they were farm raised, and finally insisted, the restaurant never said they were "live". They were mushy, broke apart and were distasteful when we go them 25 minutes from the store home.
My wife called to inform them the crawfish obviously were cooked from being dead, the manager didn't care and shewed us out of the store. I don't doubt the store has other seafood that is good, but crawfish is not one of them. We were the wrong people to give dead crawfish and I'll take this to the highest level of review to make sure they are aware dead crawfish should not be cooked.
We ordered fried alligator - overcooked, we ordered steamed vegetables, cooked in old seafood water, and crawfish, where we terrible. We were in Mississippi last week, (Brewski's was great), Louisiana the week before (Lafayette, Louisiana) and we have cooked crawfish from live (hand-picked) in our own restaurant (WannaEat Seafood).
In all this restaurant here, gets a 1-star because it is not possible to give a zero. The terrible manager wanted to argue and continued to say we were unprofessional when we brought up the crawfish were dead when cooked,.
Do not go here for crawfish, steamed vegetables or fried alligator. None of them are worth the drive or the time it takes to walk inside. You have...
