Mehhhhh.... You can skip it .. Almost every machine is irregular. If it has two hands- one hand needs WD40 so you are pulling at different rates. This can lead to injury And it's most of the upper body machines on the floor. The machines are not up to date as most other la fitness that are even worse than this location in different aspects. When I walked in the staff had a smile and also said hello but I didn't care.. I don't come for pleasantries but at least they didn't look at me with the disgust I am custom to at This franchise. All the desks are empty. Selling monetarily predatory scam personal training sessions with a Bozo has not been paying off, especially with the ridiculous low wages they start the employees off at. MC D's pays more not lying. A lot was out of order toilets sinks and what have you God knows what was left. I did like that there were two of most machines. So if one was broken ....then other one was also broken too.. so it helped out .. with the. ...um.. anyway I would skip. La on pleasant hill smells like garbage but the machines are legit and not AS broken. (They still broken) Even sugar loaf by the mall has some impressive machines that are worth the trip altho they have their issues. No place is perfect.

This is one of two LA Fitnesses we choose to be consistent at in the ATL region after trying various gyms. It's one of the most updated locations and has the largest variety of equipment for abdominal workouts. Things you should know: I. PARKING There's a large public parking lot out front. It gets packed at rush hour times so if you arrive around that time, expect to park far out and walk. Knock out your cardio for the day lol II. SERVICE They do a fairly good job at up keeping/cleaning the facility compared to other locations. I like that you can't smell the chlorine from the pool when you walk in ~ means they actually clean it. III. QUALITY There's no televisions hanging from the ceilings for the second floor cardio; however, the treadmills have individual TVs. The signal is bad & the screens have static on every channel. So, I wouldn't count on them for a quality distraction from the torture you volunteer your lungs through. They have a matted area for stretching and pilates. Not all the gyms have this so take advantage. IV. CAPACITY Busy at rush hour times. But what gym isn't? Lunch hours and weekends are less crowded. Do what works for you.

My friend scanned her membership code, but it didn't go through as she used a screenshot. The manager, George H., asked her to open the app and scan again. After several attempts, he demanded her personal information and a photo, but the computer malfunctioned. He then asked her to add a guest through the app. After submitting my name and phone number, he again demanded a photo. We refused and were told to leave if we didn't comply. We waited at the front desk for nearly ten minutes, during which other members with guests were not asked for any information. It felt like we were singled out and discriminated against because of our Asian appearance. As paying members, we have never faced such treatment at any other LA Fitness location. This experience was deeply upsetting and unacceptable.

I was going to the gym with my friend with a guest pass for a week or so, after that I decided to join and get my membership pass. I signed up everything was good up until the personal trainer director Jason came up to my friend and I to talk to us. We spent maybe 15-20 minutes talking and he was saying that it would be a good idea for me to get a personal trainer. I was asking my friend if I should do it etc. I ended up saying yes, so I signed up for a personal trainer and ended up paying almost $300, on top of $140ish for the membership itself. I am a very quiet person, I don’t like to speak up so I was like okay sounds great even though in the moment I was regretting my decision. As soon as my friend and I walked out we had realized what we had done. My friend mentioned how he kept talking to us and saying all these things about working out that we weren’t really thinking since he was throwing all these things at us. It kind of felt like we were being manipulated/gaslighted as crazy as that sounds. I was very worried about being charged almost 250-300 can’t remember how much exactly a month for a trainer even though I did not want it anymore. I was looking to see if it was possible to cancel the personal trainer, I didn’t find much information. Finally on the 6th day of the 7 day window of being able to cancel (I didn’t know that then) I went into La fitness to ask Jason to cancel my personal trainer. He said I was not able to this and that. He asked me why I wasn’t able to, and I said I was busy with work. He then said ā€˜I’ve worked with truck drivers if they can do it you can do it.’ I was mad in the moment so I just left it at that and walked out. Then I did more research, cause I do remember him saying I could cancel anytime. I looked on contracts ( which I should have done before) and saw that there was a 7 day window to cancel any memberships. So I texted Jason that he said I could cancel anytime. and he said he never said that and recommended me to talk to him on a friday which would have been the 8th day, a day later after the 7 day window. I was really upset so I called La fitness and I spoke with Kyle, he was very nice and helped me with this whole situation and I was eventually able to cancel my personal trainer membership, I also went ahead and canceled my gym membership because I did not want to see Jason after he lied to me. I did not want to feel uncomfortable with...

I never last longer with a gym membership than 1 or 2 months, mainly because i used to only do cardio when i come to the gym. This time around, i felt like i needed to change it up so i got a personal trainer and it has changed so much. I feel like i am being challenged and i love the feeling of being sore the next day. Shout out to my trainer: Odelei. He is so nice and very comfortable to work with. Still have 4 months left. Planning on applying for more months after this ends šŸ‘šŸ’ÆšŸ”„

Edit: i retract everything i wrote before when i gave them 5 stars. That was in the beginning when they were trying to get me to write a good review fir them promising me guest passes that they never gave me...then my trainer would constantly cancel sessions but put it in the system that we had them. He would promise to make them up but never did. He got injured which sucked but they didnt gice me a new trainer and he told me since my 6 months were almost up he would make up the sessions even after my 6 months were up and then he quit....when we had 3 weeks left. So i have this new person....now this new person is good but he keeps victimizing himself when something goes wrong...which seems to be a recurring theme..sorry that the supervisor put someone in my spot but that was up to you to remind him you had a session with me...they convinced me not to use a friend as a personal trainer and then they completely neglected my training for 6 months...i would just find a trainer who isn't affiliated with a gym...this...

In the four years I’ve been coming here, this place has done a U-turn on customer service & cleanliness. It doesn’t mean the place doesn’t need a remodel - it does - but the current team there has been excellent.

I’d like to give a shout out call to the employees here (I do not know theirs names). For one, there’s a gentleman that’s always smiling and when I walk in over the past couple years. Tall guy with the goatee. He always gives a warm hello and it’s much appreciated - it’s the small things that count!

Second, and most importantly, the gentleman they have cleaning the facility now. I travel a lot for work and I hadn’t been back in a minute, but when I walked in the other week, he’s sweeping between my treadmills, sweeping under benches, cleaning the place head to toe and always smiling. I saw him last week cleaning the railings up and down the stairs, I was in complete shock! Always in the locker room refilling soap (finally!), paper towels are always full (wow!). This facility has been haunted on the ā€œclean vibesā€ since I’ve been coming for 5 years. But whoever the new gentleman is cleaning up the shop every single day head to tow, that man deserves round of applause and hopefully some solid pay from the owner. I imagine everyone’s grateful for having him around, you should make him the employee training coordinator for this place, he’s the prime example of quality staff and hard work/dedication! Good work man, you’ve earned a lot of our respect who frequent...
