I hesitate to advertise this hidden gem of a market. Frenchy's has always been one of my favorite restaurants and visit the Clearwater Beach and Dunedin Causeway location often. Today was a great day we had lunch at Frenchy's restaurant and stopped at the market across the street to pick up provisions for dinner with the family. If you have purchased fish at Publix or local grocery stores and markets it is no where near as fresh as you receive here. Also there are many varieties of fish you don't often see for consumer sale and they do sell out quickly so a morning visit may be recommended.

Besides fish we buy the teriyaki filet , chicken and shrimp kabobs all delicious. Also the baked stuffed potatoes and vegetable skewers are tasty. The desserts are to die for especially the key lime pie and cookies so good. There is a small market with Alessi products along with other brands, a few vegetables for sale, wine, beer, etc so you can round out a meal. The freezer case has some Broussard cajun type offerings we sampled and authentic taste. There are also some fish related kitchen items that I covet on sale there.

Fresh fish is not inexpensive but their prices are very competitive and better than we find elsewhere.

I did not photograph the counter with prepared foods to eat there or take out. There are tables pictured outside to dine at if you choose and large clean restrooms inside.

Staff is super friendly, greets you and will answer all your questions. It's worth the drive for...

This is an awesome Seafood Market right near the beach! It is 1.1 miles to Dunedin Causeway Beach and only 2.0 miles from Honeymoon Island State Park beach. It is also right across the street from one of their restuarants called "Frenchys Outpost". They offer a wide variety of locally caught fresh fish and other seafood. They have many types of schrimp. We love to buy the Grouper and Jumbo Schrimp! They have fresh cut steaks and kabobs. They have prepared and or seasoned meats. They have all kinds of homemade fresh dips. They have frozen seafood specialties. They have spices, marinades, sauces, mixes, and my favorite, the hot sauce choices. Frenchys even has their own line of hot sauces. The "Fishers Fire" of their line is my very favorite because it has some really good heat but it still tastes amazing. One of the things that makes this fish market so unique is that they have a custom Steamer Bar. They offer nine different "Boils" or "Baskets" with 4 different seasoning choices. They offer fresh "Poke" bowls, too. They provide the order in a metal "bucket" or "Pail" with a lid. They can be made while you wait. The staff are friendly, polite, and courteous. They are very knowledgeable and can offer advice regarding food preparation or cooking choices for your seafood, and butchered meat purchases. It truly is a hidden gem that is not well known throughout the area. I highly recommend this place for your fresh seafood needs. You will not be...

I have tried several times to make it here. Unfortunately I'm always passing by to late. Mike the manager said they're going to start staying open till 8:00 p.m in a couple of weeks. When you're on the way to Honeymoon Island . And you need something quick this is the perfect place. They knocked it out of the park. I tried their Crab Cake and She Crab Bisque. You could actually taste the crab. Some people put to much Sherry. That's all you can taste. The crab cake was plump didn't fall apart. Their mustardy horseradish sauce was excellent. So many choices . There's a beautiful surf and turf market. You can either have them cook it for you or you can cook your own. Mike the manager was very knowledgeable. He helped me make my final decision. I went in for clam chowder. Which he gave me a sample, it was excellent. I was feeling crabby 🦀🦀 They also have a steam bar. where you can have stuff freshly steamed. And either enjoy one of the outdoor patio tables. 🏖️ Or take it to go Really great store. Definitely stop in and see them. Really friendly staff They have a full line of local products as well as locally made desserts. Key lime pie is always a perfect finish. Especially after seafood. Bon...
