Vintage thrift of Dunn — Attraction in Dunn

The worst customer service I have ever seen in my life 😔 was here. I do not know the guy's name but he had a white beard and was as rude as could be. He kept talking to me when I came in and I was nice back but then he followed me and said you rushed on by and I didn't get a chance to tell you everything is half off. I politely thanked him. I wanted to get some stationary so I asked him how much it was regular price and he said $2. So if it's $2 and he said when I came in the store everything was half off it should then be a dollar. So I get a couple of old cards & go to pay and he still says two dollars. I said for these old cards? (They were free cards that you get in the mail from charities.) it was only five of them and yellowed with age even burried down in the box I figured I could make a card of them. But he still said two I guess he didn't really mean half off on everything! Then he proceeds to tell me to put them back which was way across the store and he said he would sell them in a bundle! He said it's snappy too he had me do his work for him and then when I left the store he was smirk at me. This place is horrendous and awful I would not recommend anyone to go there. The first time I went there many months ago there was a guy who reeked of alcohol and drunk as a skunk running the place that day it smelled as if he had bathed in alcohol. So that's two times I've been in there and it's been completely unprofessional.I will not be back don't waste...

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.

We were moving. They came to the house, looked at everything, gave us a price thst worked, and told us when they would be there to pick everything up. We had movers and cleaners ready to go when he was going to be done. Seemed simple enough.

2 hours AFTER they said they would be there, my wife called them back, but she went straight to voicemail. I called right afterwards, he answered immediately, and then his tone changed once he realized i was calling about the same place my wife had. He said that he was delayed, but would be by later. He called us an hour later, and said he would be by late thay day or would call us yo show up tomorrow. From then on both our calls went right to voivemail when we reached out for updates. He never answered the phone again after that, and never spoke to us again. We had movers and cleaners waiting on him, and his irresponsible behavior was inexcusable.

Great thrift/ vintage and antiques. There is anything under the sun you can find appliances, furniture, household items, and more. You’d probably spend hours just looking through everything. It’s a small town hidden gem and they always have deals. If you know about Dunn, then you know that there’s little spaces where if you are a person of color, lgbtq+ or anyone else who’s not the norm, you’d feel safe, but this spot is. they have a sign posted outside their door and they are super accommodating. They help people around the community too that may need some support. All things in the store are of good quality and the owner takes great pride in their store. Their items are not donations/ they don’t work like a goodwill. They go to estate sales and find their goods. From my understanding that’s why their products are the prices they are. In my experience they have very good reasonable prices even on their NICE actually wooden furniture and everything else in between. Enjoy the hunt once...
