Artist, Entrepreneur and Proprietor Deb Wolf has an affinity for Colorado nature. She has captured the cycle and spectrum of Aspen Forests that will tantalize your imagination. Take a piece of Colorado beauty with you as a gentle (or bold) reminder of your visit to the very southern end of the Rockies. Deb’s art is powerful, striking and relatable. Beyond her painting skills she frames her own work, or will take special orders on your art work for framing. Her gallery is well appointed and she has hosted events, recently a first-time exhibition by artist Luke Wolf premiered in her gallery. ( yep, her very talented son). His deep appreciation, love and concern for African wildlife transfers over to the canvas with striking cognizance. So much so that my wife and I purchased his piece entitled “Masai”, depicting life in an African Masai village. It now hangs proudly in our home. Sales at the exhibition were brisk. We watched at least 6 of his other pieces sell to avid customers . Deb shared plans in the works for a Durango Exhibition featuring special needs artists before year’s end. Such an event has been too long in coming and should be a truly exciting event. Early Winter Deb is planning on a poetry reading by pair of Durango Poets to be showcased in her gallery. Deb crafted two beautiful frames for me recently. The joy and excitement she feels for creating art out of found pieces is palpable. She helped me pick out the perfect color frames to make my art “pop” and custom built them in a short timeframe.
