The Goose Bar & Eatery — Restaurant in Durango

Everything looked amazing online however the food was not good at all. They were have a bike show which we enjoyed but the food was horrible. I ordered a BLT and when we got our food the cashier/waitress informed me they were out of bacon. Okay like you couldn’t have notified me sooner, I then ordered a green chili cheeseburger while my family started their meal. The burger came out cold the meat was way under cooked missing a side of fries, I couldn’t believe they brought it out to me like that. The next day I asked my kids how they like it and my son said he didn’t like it at all because his burger was cold. We love visiting Durango and trying new spots but honestly this was the worst place we have ever eaten at in Durango. Take pride in your establishment it really could have been a great experience because we enjoyed everything except the food. The BEST effin' BLT I have ever eaten!!! Hands down! (It's the secret ingredient.) 😉 This family cures their meat in house, takes pride in the food prepared, every plate is cooked to perfection and the hospitality is heart felt and genuinely welcoming! So glad we stopped in!! A newer establishment in the heart of the Rockies, located in Durango Colorado, next to the Harley Davidson shop. A charming establishment that I hope to visit for many years to come.

As long as it is open, You can bet that I will be back for another sammich and a glass of sweet Louisiana...
