Oakwood Park — Attraction in Durham

Cute little playground…cool color scheme. The park itself is a dump and there was trash all over the place. We didn’t feel safe in the location this park was in and so we left after just fifteen minutes. Really cool little playground though for smaller kids. Multiple slides and fun elements on this playground. Creative monkey bars to climb up on, and multiple different space-themed features. No bathrooms here or public parking. Really nice playground equipment, but our trip was cut short when a group of grown men descended upon the park to make a "transaction." The area had extra foot/motor vehicle traffic due to early voting that day, but that did not deter them, which unfortunately speaks volumes imo. Also there's no bathroom at this park. 0/10 don't bring...

Reasonably cute, small playground that is in good repair. LOTS of trash (including cigarette butts, beer cans, a used condom) and some homeless people. Was ok during the day but clearly lots of adults hanging out there...
