Burlington — Attraction in East Brunswick Township

Burlington on Route 18 in New Brunswick, NJ was awesome. An associate offered me a freshly sanitized cart as soon as I entered to replace one I acquired in the parking lot.

Another was happy to help do a price search on a pair of gloves that was missing a tag.

Many associates were busy throughout the store, smiling, sorting...

Lovely experience.

I stopped going to the Burlington's in Flemington NJ because it was dirty, layers of dust clung onto tops of structures, an associate told me to get out of the handicapped dressing room so mom and her teenager could use it (I AM handicapped), and many times the handicapped dressing room was used by staff to sort the clothes...I reported this to several manages and corporate; but to no avail. So depressing at the Flemington store...

Oh, and one has to walk about 200 feet to obtain a cart in Flemington....they are only by the side entrance...not the front.

But the Route 18 store's associates were awesome! That must be some great manager in that store!

What happened?

One checkout opened with 9 customers waiting.

Clothing scattered around on wrong rods.

Women's bathroom...2 toilets couldn't flush.

It was hard to believe I was in the same store...

This Burlington location in East Brunswick is a solid place to shop when you're hunting for deals on name-brand items. The store is spacious and carries a wide range of products—from coats and clothing to home goods, shoes, baby essentials, and even beauty items.

Their coat and jacket selection is especially strong during the colder months, living up to the store’s original name. I’ve also found some great deals on activewear and home décor, though it does take a bit of digging. It’s one of those places where patience pays off.

The store can get a little messy at times, especially in the fitting room areas or clearance sections, but nothing too crazy. Staff is usually around and willing to help, though not overly hands-on. Checkout lines vary—sometimes quick, sometimes a bit slow depending on the time of day.

Parking is plentiful since it's in a shopping plaza, which is a plus. It's a convenient location with a wide selection, especially if you don’t mind doing a little browsing to...

Not the first Burlington store I've been to, but my 1st time to the one in East Brunswick, NJ., which is further than the one local to me I arrived mid-afternoon on a Saturday. While it was moderately busy there was still ample parking. Upon entering the store, there is a security guard right in front, the entire place was well lit, there were signs marking all the racks & areas in the store making it easier to shop, and it was clean. I was not constantly stepping through and over items scattered all over the floor. There were a few things yes, but not the mess I'd come to accept as normal at a different branch. Check-out was also quick moving, no issues. I will go out of my way to come to this...
